QUOTE(squall_12 @ Jul 7 2014, 04:16 PM) the lines still look too thick too obvious……hot toys 1/4 and 1/6 mk.42 bust don't have such thick black line which looks a lot better.same goes for power pose mk.42…..no thick black line like this…... QUOTE(Parody @ Jul 11 2014, 05:12 PM) I can't recall ever seeing the armors get detached like that except Mk42. Then again, I don't think Mk42 detaches EXACTLY like that too. yes it did. it detach in mid air and attack few extremes soldiers in one go. try watching IM3 again or view it in youtube n you'll see it. |

QUOTE(BeastX @ Jul 25 2014, 01:19 PM) In one word: Yes..... Better articulation, design and "possibly" durability... this is the trend seen from the 3 die-cast release so far.... However the 3rd release, IM3: Mk. 42 suffers from broken shoulders..... n no more fading pink underwear 4th diecast being Robocop and 5th Die-cast being Whiplash II are still unknown.... the 6th Die-cast being Mk. 3 appears to be a more simplistic design that looses any articulation at the torso for showing the under-armor, would have been a most complete articulated Mk.3 if HT given-up that..... |

QUOTE(golbeza @ Aug 28 2014, 12:50 PM) seem the "weak shoulder joint breaking" problem only exist for the 1st batch release in HK, HT have since fixed the problem part after many collector's complaint. the new batch all OK now as didn't hear any complaint from collector. |

QUOTE(ho1286 @ Sep 11 2014, 10:56 AM) Just call the XL shop and ask for the status of my PO mark 42, they say you can come collect as many want to wait for 2nd. as i know, all mark 42 tat arrived in malaysia r new batch n problem free….i've oredi collected mine n checked the shoulder joint, it is the new joint with 1piece round plastic thingy n added screw instead of the problem batch with 2piece round plastic thingy which make it too tight to move hence breaking it May i know whats the problem for the 1st batch? as i know the arm issue already solve rite? problem with the breaking shoulder/arm only happen in HK 1st batch, n after HK collector's complaint to HT, the problem has been rectify since. so YES, it is save to collect your mark 42 now. |

oh, side note on HT mark 42……to insert the batteries into the head is darn frustrating as the magnet on both side of the battery compartment kept on pulling the tiny battery out every time i try to shove it in……..

QUOTE(TM2 Dinobot @ Oct 2 2014, 10:08 AM) So I was thinking about giving RAH a chance. I've never been a huge fan, but their Ryuko just won me over. Any advice? no doubt medicom make the best looking anime figurine, the only thing keeping me away is their price n most importantly their lousy quality.from my bad experience of RAH Darth Vader, MGS Raiden, Masked rider, DB son goku….etc most joint/peg easily break and brittle, pleather material really bad, rubber suit will either melt, become sticky, crack or tear in time. I would love to collect medico RAH EVA-01, but the above quality issue really kept me away instead. |
