I know that asrock extreme 6 has a 8+4 power phase

how bout the Msi M power ?

both great ... in term value of money vs OCing the extreme 6 is best choose . it mybe lack of wifi and bluetooh..

Either 1 will be a good choice. Personally , i'll go with the M-Power. =)

I'd suggest the Asus P8Z77-V Pro. If read a few reviews praising it's OC capabilities, not to mention Asus UEFI Bios support is second to none.

thanks for the information, im using asrock extreme 6 now. But my proc 3770k can go to 4.8ghz but voltage must be 1.408, which makes my cpu really hot even with my corsair h110 water cooling (mx4 thermal paste) around 95 C

100% load with intel burn test ram 8gb max, 95C max temperature,
if running 100% for other program is around 90C

On the first post, TS stated that at 1.3V he was already very close to max load. Maybe try dropping your OC? As you said, yours is already running at maximum load.

im current using 1.3V @ 70 degree C, 4.6ghz to protect my proc, 95C is kinda reduce its lifetime faster.

FYI, a processor can last longer than you can live theoretically.
Intel does claim that their processors can last 10 years of maximally stressing/loading.

Your processor won't run 90C all the time. This is practical. Unless, you're making it to do Folding@Home, Mining, etc non-stop or 3D rendering 24 hours.

And, the previous statement I put(on the post above), already said that it'll surely last more than 10 years by normal means even the temperature is more than 80C(I stated maximally stress).

Basically, your motherboard die already(say more than 3 years or 5 years).
And, your processor will still live.

Processor is more likely to die from physical damage and also too overvolted(and NOT overheated).

im doing the exact thing as what you said ... im doing folding@home 24/7 @.@ im finding some solution for this...

haha meons, i think proc not so easy die if kena water also, my old 478 proc pentium 4 i always use it for testing board. every time my hand is wet i just handle the proc only.

That's different from real-life already.

Your processor is 70C only(when stressed), so, I don't think it's overheated or will do anything bad.

sometimes i put it to 4.8ghz and increase voltage once in a blue moon, and it goes to 90C but its just for a while for intel burn test.

normally i let this proc dude run at 4.6ghz only.

As long as your temperature is below TJMax you are fine already

Processor can last theoretically 100 years if no physical damage on it.
But, motherboard can only last 3-5 years mostly.
That's why there's no need to take too care of the processor.
As long as, it's 70-90C, I don't see any problem.

My rule of thumb:
5 C below TJ Max under IBT is fine for me
TJ max for Ivy Bridge is 105 C so anything up to 100 C or so is ok
