They have no similarity to compare. Both are made for different purpose.

Infact, the mini is a travel guitar while 114 is a full size. Try both. Then you know what u want. Sound is something real personal like foods.

What abt Taylor GS Mini Rosewood vs Cort Earth Mini?
Cort Mini is much much cheaper than Taylor Mini.
Is Taylor Mini worth the price?

they are both very different guitars, with different makers

the best way is you go and try it out yourself cause we all have differences on what is "worth it"

doing so will also allow you to learn more about guitars then further understand why asking such questions come with a certain bit of futility

For anytime, i will pick up a cort earth mine. For the the past 2 years i bought and sold a few of them.

Here my reason, it has a englemann top. On a small guitar, it is easier to drive by the string because it is softer than a sitka. Another valid reason it has a brace at lower bout. So it will reduce the risk of bridge lift which a common problem for most of the mini guitar. Sounds alien? biggrin.gif

There are reason why a guitar being build that way by the manifacturer. After all, buyer decide to buy or not. I will still insist that you go to try both and come back with more specific question. Because we cannot explain how both guitars sound tongue.gif

To be honest, only salesman tell you what to buy. We dont. We ask you to try everything under your budget, everything that you interested, then you will know what you want. Love your guitar, there where the passion and interest kick. Good luck in hunting your guitar. We looking for you to come back to share with us, or posting up more questions on how u spoiled by choices.

Sorry for bumping an old thread.

My current gig:
Farida R52e
Fishman Loudbox Mini

Play plugged in usually at a church setting plugged into the PA system via my amp DI output.

What would a good next upgrade for my setup?

My current choice & maybe low budget upgrade:
1. Get a proper DI box - LR Baggs Paracoustic DI
2. Upgrade pickup to Anthem SL without buying DI box

Say if I could do with one first, which one could be better?

Looking for better tonality.
