Just to share (again), I paid about SGD30.32 ~ RM75.80 in Singapore for 42004 during 20+5% sale.
List price is SGD39.90 ~ RM99.75
Hand carry back.
Bought others also  tongue.gif 42006, 42007, ...

Malaysia Lego price is higher than quite a lot of other countries. If anyone has chance to travel, go grab it. Otherwise, local landed price during sale is alright.

Yup you're right. Deciding now whether to get it and send to London, or get it from US Amazon or wait for a friend who will be visiting US early next month to grab 1 for me. 3rd option will be the cheapest I guess.
*
get friend to bring back from US definitely the cheapest thumbup.gif

Want to ask all the technic sifus here...

Which is a good current production big set to start on? So far only had a smallish set but felt no love for it, maybe the big one will pull some heart strings... biggrin.gif

QUOTE(yuying1 @ May 25 2013, 08:43 PM)
Unimog! Go go, you can never go wrong with pneumatic.
*
i second that laugh.gif
- This set is the largest TECHNIC set to date.
- This is one of the first sets to have pneumatics and Power Functions combined. Earlier models, however, could add Power Functions only to drive a compressor pump for the pneumatics.
- This pneumatics and PTO shaft can be channeled to the front or rear with a switch, allowing the crane and winch to be used on either the front or back.
- The Unimog features a new kind of suspension, discussed on the LEGO Technic blog page.

Thanks to the long weekend, finally some time to do some building. Wanted to see how a Lego harbour looks like when I placed 3 of the harbour sets together. Took me the whole day to build the sets 6540 to 6542.  sweat.gif

With a little modification this intersection can combine with the other 2.
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

It even looks ok when I placed the boat from the Extremis set into the diorama. The boat all look in proportion with one another.

Since the police set has 4 highly trained policeman, the baddie cannot get away and was later caught!

And now for the reason I think I need to slow down on Lego; look at the amount of cardboard I have collected over the past 1 year! You can see some really big sets among the pile.

Finalized last Sat!  Again, I'm building one of my favorite triple changer from G1 Transformers.

One of the  hardest part is making the rifle/weapons for this guy to be pegged nicely onto both vehicle modes. that took me 2 days!

Still in the process of editing photos (and the bot mode photos haven't taken yet). Here's a few smile.gif
