QUOTE(toktok @ May 21 2013, 03:18 PM) Guys, want to check with you guys on this. If I swipe AMEX on Saturday at Maxis centre and use the 0% installment for purchase handphone, can I get 5x Treatpoint + 5% cashback? Anyone experienced before? Thank you. I believe AMEX doesn't have 0% installment at Maxis Centres.

QUOTE(CP88 @ May 22 2013, 10:26 PM) Don't be greedy lah. Got 7% plus additional 2.5% (5x points) more than enough liau. The higher AMEX forex charge will "knock down" the 5X TP

QUOTE(CP88 @ May 22 2013, 11:14 PM) I thought can select to charge in MYR? Correct me if I am wrong. Even you select MYR, you will be charged in USD as per the Agoda receipt I received.

Agoda Booking via http://www.agoda.com/ms-my/maybank- Payment page doesn't reflect the 7% discount Should be using http://www.agoda.com/maybankMy observation 1. Booking for Marina Mandarin Singapore is cheaper in MYR (I paid via SGD) RM1140 vs RM1170 2. My guess: You can pay via Maybankard 2 AMEX to enjoy Weekend 5% Cashback + 5X TP.... [ I didn't perform weekend transactions with Agoda] This post has been edited by ronnie: May 25 2013, 10:03 AM

Did you actually created a M2U Savers account in the first place ?
M2U Savers need to transfer funds from a CASA (BSA or Kawanku). You need the normal CASA before M2U Savers are allowed.

QUOTE(edwardccg @ May 24 2013, 10:35 AM) Thats why i saying this is the strange thing I do not have any CASA with maybank and this m2u only has AMEX on it. when i click "Apply online" from home page, following the step it allow me to open without the option to transfer minimum balance to that account. so in result, my "All account" appear that RM0 M2U saver and AMEX card I not sure will the branch let me close this account or not. That's quite cool.... a bug in M2U

QUOTE(ckweng @ May 25 2013, 09:47 AM) Ronnie can I confirm with u that your Agoda transaction got posted on weekend and hence able to enjoy cash back + 5xTPs on your Amex. The last time that I tried, the transaction, although completed on Sat morning, only got posted on following Mon. Just to clarify: I did not perform Agoda transaction on a weekend. Sorry for the confusion.

QUOTE(BRY7 @ May 25 2013, 10:36 AM) not sure on that, but i suggest you to use Hopshopgo. they have 10% discount. and payment is processed by Paypal, so you're sure to get payment processed immediately (including weekends) How to get the 10% discount ? HopShopGo / Globaleshop / ShopOnline are run by the same ComGateway.

QUOTE(ay@m @ May 26 2013, 12:42 PM) hi all, The 5% Cash Back payout is subjected to POSTING DATE not transaction date. Here's a detail example by ronnie regarding this, i actually called Maybank today to confirm and i was told it is the transaction date...not posting date...as long as we swipe the card on saturday or sunday....then the posting date is monday...it doesn't matter...will still get rebate... i'll try to monitor my transactions to confirm this... Posting Date is important to know which month's rebate it will FALL INTO. Once you swipe on weekend, for sure you will get the 5% Weekend Rebate.... Don't confuse yourself. Posting Date is important when the weekend falls on the last day of the month. Eg. 30 Jun 2013 = Sunday Please read the example to understand ok ?

QUOTE(tachlio @ May 30 2013, 08:42 AM) never happen this me before.. only previously using SCB debit card will credit RM200 then refund the remaining amount. For AMEX 2C, Never. Its better you call CS to confirm You know why it never happen to you ? Because your SMS Transaction Limit is higher than RM200 lah The RM200 is called Pre-Authorization amount when swiping at petrol pump.

QUOTE(lamode @ Jun 1 2013, 11:28 AM) give it another day or two man its normal that they don't credit on the first day. Actually we can the Rebate (not under Transaction History) via Last Payment Amount on the 1st of the month. Tomorrow we should be able to view.... my cc payment will be determine by Rebate received.
