Guys, want to check with you guys on this. If I swipe AMEX on Saturday at Maxis centre and use the 0% installment for purchase handphone, can I get 5x Treatpoint + 5% cashback? Anyone experienced before? Thank you.

amex do have instalment plan for credit card (not amex charge card), and yes 0% interest.

I do not have any CASA with maybank and this m2u only has AMEX on it.

when i click "Apply online" from home page, following the step it allow me to open without the option to transfer minimum balance to that account.

so in result, my "All account" appear that RM0 M2U saver and AMEX card 
I not sure will the branch let me close this account or not.

I thought Agoda doesn't process on weekends. You manage to get your 5%? 

Ronnie can I confirm with u that your Agoda transaction got posted on weekend and hence able to enjoy cash back + 5xTPs on your Amex. The last time that I tried, the transaction, although completed on Sat morning, only got posted on following Mon.

and payment is processed by Paypal, so you're sure to get payment processed immediately (including weekends)

The 5% Cash Back payout is subjected to POSTING DATE not transaction date. Here's a detail example by ronnie

regarding this, i actually called Maybank today to confirm and i was told it is the transaction date...not posting date...as long as we swipe the card on saturday or sunday....then the posting date is monday...it doesn't matter...will still get rebate...

i'll try to monitor my transactions to confirm this...

only previously using SCB debit card will credit RM200 then refund the remaining amount. For AMEX 2C, Never.
Its better you call CS to confirm
