Can some1 explain the red part in layman terms?

In layman terms, It means even if you never sign the sales slip, you are still liable to the purchase transaction.

For AirAsia, you are not going to use CC to pay unless you don't mind paying RM8 "Convenient Fee" per one way flight or RM16 per return flight.

i'm in dilemma to use my mb2card amex or ocbc titanium mc for online shopping

would u guys still use amex if you already max the rebate out?

which is better?

1% rebate + better exchange rate of MC  or  2.++% rebate worth in TP + poorer exchange rate
*
I wouldn't use Amex for online shopping unless Amex implement SMS TAC for online transactions.
Many users in this thread reported fraudulent online transactions using Amex card.

As I have more option to purchase something I like using AMEX rather than just limit to Parkson or AEON shopping voucher tongue.gif

Redemp against the GST is wiser as you don't have to bother making a trip to Metro to spend the voucher. save parking and petrol cost.

From next month onwards, upon knowning your statement balance, just use "own account transfer scheduled payment". No need to wait till due date and no more omg of last minute glitch.

Absolutely. Save a lot of hassles and will never miss credit card payment anymore. But I think IBG can't schedule payment.

*
To play safe, set it one day before payment due date, at least you are inform by email just incase schedule payment failed.

What happen if there's INSUFFICIENT fund in  the account ? any "surcharge" ?
*
Never kena before but i think No charge. it will just fail the transfer. Similar to if you try to make a own account transfer and you keyed in amount 5k from an account of 1k balance. It won't get thru.
Like I said, set 1 day before the due day. If failed due to insufficient fund, still can pay in time.
Fund can be kept in M2U Savers for 2.x% interest.

lets say i buy a groupon voucher on sat n redeem it on a weekend, will i get any cash back?
*
Since when groupon can be paid by Amex ?

QUOTE(WHITE APPLE @ Jul 2 2013, 05:51 PM)
May I know how to apply for the service? Is it through M2U? Mind guiding the process?
If i set it one day before due date, what would happen if i swap my cc ON the due date of payment? Is that mean that i have to make another payment on the due date itself ? CC Newbie here  rclxub.gif
*
No need guide. Just follow the instructions in own account transfer.
No need to make another payment on due date. If you kena penalty, you can sue Maybank haha... biggrin.gif

Those going to the fair, make sure you calculate and tally the redemption points before signing the slip.
I redeemed several types of shopping vouchers worth 116k points but was charged 126k point. Got to take extra 5 pcs RM10 Tesco voucher to settle the discrepancy.

what is the difference and which one should i get?
and is there any charges if i decide to change it later on in the future?
i ask the same question to the staff but what they said is "both is acceptable in Malaysia"

Take the visa if you plan to apply OCBC titanium MasterCard.
Take the MasterCard if you plan to apply HLB WISE visa card.

Everytime I make purchases at Harvey Norman, the cashier will jot down every single digit of my payment card, including expiry and cvc. Is that right? =.=
*
Oh no ! doh.gif That was blatantly copying your CC security info right before your very eyes. doh.gif
Those info shouldn't be disclosed to any one unless you are on secured online payment.
You better call Mbb to cancel the card.
I remember some one posted picture of his mbb2amex here and immediately his card was charged by scammer with online purchases.
For added security, cover up the Amex front and back cvc with a small cellophane tape and blacken it with marker pen.

Called Amex and learned something new to day.
The CB was credited to my sub card instead of principal card. Why is that so ? Because the sub card made the first weekend transaction in June.

Haha, Being using it for so long and the CB always credited in principal card. never expect it can be the other way round. Thought banks normally pay all perks and promotions entitlement to principal card only.

MOTO transactions does not need cvc number. CC number is good enough. They just need your verbal approval over a recorded phone conversation. You should have answer the call and inform them your disapproval of the said transaction loud and clear.

If cvc can be revealed over the phone, habis la you.
