Gosh, I didn't know Celebrity Fitness accepts AmEx for auto-debit. I remembered when I signed up and asked if they accept AmEx, the guy told me no. Looks like I'll check it out this Friday. 5xTP is better than my 1% OCBC Ti.

I always set reminder to pay the Celebrity fees on weekend.
Whether it's before the bill statement date on 30th or after 30th.
That way i get cashback plus 5X TP.

I can do that maybe after a year. They opened a new outlet in Nu Sentral and in order to enjoy this special rate, I have to commit to auto-debit for a year. sad.gif

Haha its standard procedure for them.
I gave them a debit card number, and then the acct is always below RM50.
Payment of course can't proceed, so they will ask me to pay manually every month.
That settles the auto debit matter.

The drawback of this method, when your bill statement falls far from weekend.
That's why sometimes i pay upfront before bill statement is out.
Then those idiot front desk rep doesn't check the system thoroughly and always tell me that i have outstanding balance, in fact i already pay upfront.
I advised them to change their stupid system.
