Try Best Denki or Sen Heng, which accepts AMEX and allows TreatsPoints redemption.
*
But their price are much higher when compare buying from other shops.
I just bought a panasonic thermos last week.
On SenQ(Sen Heng) the list price are rm239. But on other shop I can bargain till rm220 and pay by MBB Master, they don't accept AMEX as charging 4.5%.
With the 5% cash back and 5X TP, it is still rm2 more expensive hmm.gif

But I know harvey norman can nego, most items can get a little bit discount depend on the staff only.
*
Well, I in Seremban, so I don't really go to HN. And even after bargain, it is still more expensive than the shop I normally go.
HN's price are slightly below MSRP, so if can bargain the best price still higher than price I got flex.gif

which is why sometimes if the price diff is not much, get gadgets from shops like Harvey Norman. Amex no issue and even able to do 0% installment.
*
Compared the price of HN to my local shops, they are selling 10-20% more expensive, with AMEX's 7% also can't cover that lost.

ya, even HLK sometimes selling cheaper compared to Tesco, Harvey Norman.
The HLK salesman will ask, if pay by cash, discount RM10 for example
*
I go to my local shop, ask them : how cheap you can go? Then the price sure lower than all shops in shopping mall by 20-30% thumbup.gif

try eu yan sang
*
For people that know nuts on chinese herbs/medecine, eu yan sang will be the best place.
eu yan sang other than packaging looks cleaner, the quality of the herbs actually are quite poor.

Thanks for your advice.

Sharing is caring thumbup.gif
And you must know the lowest, highest and average price of the product that you want to buy. Then when ever they do offer, you will know is it cheapest or not.
Also, on the "lowest", do you need to have long queue to buy it or reach there late by a bit also stock out or not.
Just an example, Top 2.5KG detergent normal price is rm14.90, offer price is rm9.90/9.99, lowest rm9.20.
At rm9.20, you can't really able to grab it but at rm9.90 you can grab a dozen or 2. So normally I'll buy at rm9.90.

Promotion/Lowest price does not different much actually. Mostly within RM 5 and i would not really check 3 shops only decide my purchase (as advice by Government) because factoring the distance petrol and my time. It's does not really worth.

But average per month i need buy 4-5 tins which is about RM 400 - RM 500. Instead of paying cash, it's will be better choice it pay card. laugh.gif
*
If rm400-500 already, may consider WISE, got 8.25% brows.gif
But depending to your monthly total spending.
Nobody ask you go to all 3 shops, survey then go back to the cheapest shop and by, I never do like this also. Like the Top I said, every weekend we do go to either Tesco, Aeonbig, Rapid or Jusco. Whenever have time, I'll read newspaper also. So when going that time, I'll mark down the price for the stuffs I need to buy, take the average and on next visit when I see it, I'll take it directly thumbup.gif

at least you can just compare your TOP detergent price with just a click.  brows.gif
*
Well, rm9.90 is the most reasonable price currently(even that last weekend Aeonbig selling for rm9.50 and happen that I was there and on the spot I whacked 10 bags) and anything lower than that people will storm that supermarket, resulting you can't get any.

Malaysia really a cheapskate country, every where also want to reject AMEX. But in Qatar, even 10 riyal transaction also no problem.

That's why this country only compare itself with third world countries now a day.

And in Qatar, the credit card transaction don't require sign anymore, they need card holder to enter the pin. Very secure.
But what about our country? Still using sign where fraud case still happens.
