i have to agree on this. what's the point in playing a super realistic but similar FPS or sport-games on the next gen console?

why do i need to spend another huge chuck of my fortune in getting the next gen console when i can play a similar game on my current console?

i find no problem in the name Wii actually... and no, there won't be a mario Wii or zelda Wii or even a metroid prime Wii... you didn't find a metroid prime cube did you? or a legend of zelda cube. even on the DS... it wasn't a metroid prime DS... it's metroid prime hunter.

plus, to be fair to nintendo, give them time, at least until the E3. i am sure we have had our doubts too when they announced the nintendo DS.

yup, certain GBA's games had the word advance but those are mainly remake.

That's why if you gonna buy 2 consoles, make sure both are different from each other. PS3 and Wii is a good combination. PS3 and Xbox 360 are not.

Name doesn't matter. As long as the games are cool. Look at the XBOX 360. For all the power, it has nothing but more FPS, rehashed sequels and enhanced versions of current platform.

I know I'll be getting a Wii - to complement the 360 OR the PS3. Whilst I'm debating between Sony and MS there's no question to get the Wii for my secondary console.
