The Mass Transit 3 (MRT3) project is likely to be awarded to contractors starting in the fourth quarter of this year.
RHB Research analyst, Adam Mohamed Rahim, said the investment bank looked favorably on the government's move to continue the land acquisition process for the MRT3 project. "According to MRT Corp, notification regarding the identified land acquisition is expected to start in the second quarter of 2024 with the finalizing phase of the land acquisition expected to take place in the third quarter of 2024. "Therefore, we assume that the MRT3 project may be awarded in the fourth quarter of this year," he said in a research note, today. |
