from the article itself it written the time line for land acquision, from 2025 spand for two years. Probably completion in 2027.

2032 is more a feasible date consider land acquisition alone already took until early 2027 probably feb to complete. Then you left only 5 years for tunneling work, diverting tnb cabling, etc

hope they change the alignment according to needs, not save on land aquisition cost... current allignment is bad.

I dont think they will change the alignment consider it will drag further the time and cost for feasibility study. Same goes when Unity government won, Loke gave green light ECRL will continue to the previous government approved alignment.


first alignment - include double-bore Genting Tunnel from Bentong to Gombak which also the longest rail tunnel in Malaysia
second alignment - By pass the unnecessary double-bore and go south to N9 then upward which save cost, safer and faster construction process. This also bring job availability to N9 state.


Personally i will go with the second alignment, there is no a need to drill a mountain at bentong unless someone own a large plot of land there. really SUS on who was the land owner

2032 should be there, MRT Corp already got the experience in constructing MRT line 1 and 2, and line 2 was even during multiple changing of government and covid.
