Intel i5 4670k

WD Black 1 TB
Seasonic S12II 620W
NZXT Source 210
can you guys confirm?

its an okay build but are you going for overclocking? If not then this is not the right build for you

E3-1230 V3 +  GA-H87N-WIFI + Leadtek GTX760 + CM Elite 120 Advanced + 8GB DDR3 + Seasonic 500W

is this combination ok? mainly for some light gaming (PES & NBA2K13) & light video editing (1080p avchd)

n/b: ram + psu taken frm existing rig

TQ! TQ!

PES and NBA2K13 are cpu intensive games, can consider a downgrade on the graphics card if you dont want waste that much on it, but its good if you plan to play other games that are graphics intensive instead

Tried to search google for comparison between i7 4770 + H87 and i5 4670k + Z87 but nothing show up. Is it because the former combination only good for OC?

if you meant latter, then yes its only good for overclocking if you're interested in it

the i7 would be faster since it has extra 4 cores even after the latter if overclocked

Hi everyone, I'm planning on building a new desktop but I'm actually really clueless about all these. Basically I've come up with these stuffs and I wanna seek the opinion from you guys if it's okay.

Intel Core i5 3570
Asus P8H77 - M LE (?)
Kingston 8GB PC1600 RAM
SAPPHIRE 7870 dual-x (?)
FSP HEXA 500W (?)
WD Blue 1TB

With regards to the three (?)  it is because I'm not really sure what is good and what's not.

I'm looking to build this for gaming purposes. I don't need things to be set to ultra high. But I want to make sure this pc will be able to play games for the next couple of years.

Please recommend the casing and any additional parts required.

The monitor and keyboard are not required.

Thank you so much  innocent.gif  innocent.gif

from the spec recommended,

1. Is asrock good? comparable to gigabyte?
2. gtx760 seems abit lower than HD7950. Both performance is good. But when 7950 is OC , then it might be competent with higher gtx cards right? biggrin.gif

Yes the asrock is a very good budget mobo
