By the time you arrived, waiting for baggages, immigration thingy, getting a transport & etc already ~8am. and just goto the hotel and drop your luggage 1st lor if the room is not ready and by the time you start shopping, for sure all the shops already open. normally ~9am-9:30am.. 1-1.5 hr earlier than M'sia

Yes stay at Zhuhai side cheaper. Macau good for day trip and thereafter you can take a short bus ride to Zhuhai and stay there. RM80-RM120 per night can get a similar RM350-RM500 hotels in Macau.. Thereafter venture further to Guangzhou and probably another speed train ride from Guangzhou to Shenzhen b4 HK & take a ferry ride from HK to Macau again to end the journey.

Possibel on this way bcos you arrive in Macau early in the Morning smile.gif .. Just dun stay in Macau biggrin.gif

If you fly out from HK, it's more sense to do one round covering all the Pearl River Delta and only utilize One entry Visa and not need spend on dual or multiple entry VISA haha. Furthermore, cost saving on expensive hotels in both Macau & HK

How much your budget?  unsure.gif

i am pointing out that there are hostel options for travellers in HK (under RM200), but it is difficult to find a similar price room in macau (with acceptable review)

I was trying to book Hotel Sintra for stay during December 2013. The website states that not available? May I know it's fully booked or not open for booking yet?

Thanks.

Not sure how much you can book Sintra for - i ended up with Royal Hotel for Thursday - Sunday 4D3N for around 1k.

Found this more budget approach hotel here - Macau NamPan Hotel

Quoted HKD580 for weekdays and HKD780 for weekend (Double bed for 2)
