coz i will sign up for the Maxis RM15 Surf & Share to utilise my wife's 3GB data quota. She doesn't use much data but I normally max out my Surfmore 75 5GB quota.

With Note 3 kinda warm even not in Mobile Hotspot mode, I think getting the cellular version of the N7 is a much better choice than using the Note 3 to tether. But most importantly, someone want my 2012 Nexus 7 32GB.

Hi guys and gals, wanna ask a bit about the battery.
My battery seems to be draining pretty fast, was 100% at about 330pm just now and now it's nearly 90% and it was left to idle. Is that normal? I'm using a lte unit by the way.

Also, it gets pretty warm after only a few minutes of use.

Maybe some intense app running in background. Check in your Battery in Setting. See what consume most.

How to force your Cellular Nexus 7 to register/keep connecting on WCDMA/3G only or LTE/4G only.

1)Download "contact" from google play.
2)Open "contact" and keyin *#*#4636#*#*
3)Select "Tablet Information"
4)Set preferred network type: WCDMA only if you want your Nexus 7 keep connected to 3g or LTE only if you want your Nexus 7 keep connected to 4G

Thanks for the tip, apparently it's my email using exchange server that's eating up the battery, any idea how I can optimize battery usage even with email syncing still on?

I also got mine from aaronac at that price. Apparently it's local set, with 3 pin adapter and all, but haven't checked with Asus to really confirm.
But it seems logical enough with the price, since if it was from Europe it should obviously be more expensive.

Reduce the email sync interval

Will play around with the syncing and settings and see how it goes.
My battery's already less than 45% and most of the time I left it idle, barely 8hrs since 100%. Hopefully I can figure it out. Thanks guys.
