cannot compare a new grown apple and an apple that's already grown.

both are apples, but one tastes damn nice, one tastes average but if you wait for it to grow, then it can taste damn nice.

and in order to relate to the statement of players, both are wingers, one player is damn good, but another is just good but if you nurture him well, he can become a brilliant winger.

one plus point about Zaha is that he did put in the effort to help Crystal Palace for promotion to the EPL.

but personally, seeing highlights of Zaha playing for Crystal Palace makes me a bit worried because he was exactly like Ronaldo when he first joined United, so many sidesteps and skills, but just like Ronaldo, he is nurtured to be the man he is now, 28-year-old world class player.

it takes time.

De Gea came in to EPL like a bamboo. now he's an imba bamboo.
Welbeck started for United like a bamboo. now he's still a bamboo.

so it's a hit and miss.

Reds announce INVEX deal

• First financial services partners in North America
• Granting exclusive rights to produce and market Manchester United branded credit cards to the club’s 24 million Mexican followers.

(NYSE:MANU) Manchester United have signed a four-year sponsorship with Mexican banking group INVEX.

This new agreement will give INVEX the exclusive rights to produce and market Manchester United branded credit cards to the club’s 24 million Mexican followers.

Founded in 1991, INVEX’s aim is to provide excellent service while continuing to grow into Mexico’s leading bank, using cutting-edge technology and specialised services. With branches in all of Mexico’s principal cities, INVEX has an annual turnover of $252 million and a strong database of more than 100,000 credit card customers.

The INVEX Manchester United Credit Card will offer the club’s loyal Mexican fans unique benefits and offers, including discounts at the club’s online store and the Manchester United membership programme. In addition, cardholders will also be offered money-can’t-buy prizes such as signed shirts and match tickets.

United's commercial director Richard Arnold says:

"Mexico is well known for its love of football and Manchester United is lucky enough to have some 24 million loyal and passionate followers in the country. No-one could forget the fantastic reception the club received in 2010 when the team opened the Chivas Stadium in Guadalajara. Our partnership with INVEX shows our commitment to these fans and we  are delighted to be partnering with such an innovative organisation. INVEX has recognised Manchester United’s popularity in Mexico and together we will work to bring those fans not just a great opportunity to engage with the club, but also a winning financial product."

Juan Guichard, CEO of INVEX, says:

"We are extremely proud to be the first bank in Mexico to place in the market a Manchester United Credit Card. It is a great honour to link our 100% Mexican brand with the most successful football club in the UK and one of the most important teams in the entire world. At INVEX we work hard to be not just a bank, but a financial partner, that is why alliances like this are so meaningful to us. I’m sure Manchester United’s fans will be highly interested in all the great benefits of using this new credit card."

The INVEX Manchester United Credit Card is only available in Mexico and can only be applied for online or via an INVEX customer care centre. For more information, visit www.invextarjetas.com.mx

Lol! He cant be compared with ronaldo la..

And Nope..... ronaldo first season was already splendid
Ronaldo played with great wonder and we can already c his potential in the first season

Actually ferguson already c his potential then, when he is playing for sporting lisbon......
Thats y fast fast sign him, before liverfool gets him

And ferguson dare give him the famous number 7 shirt, cause he knows ronaldo, 1 day will be the best player...

But for zaha, i dun know, after witnessing a few of his game, ill only give him 50/50 chance to succeed.....

I hope he wont end up like veron, nani, anderson or bebe.....

So much hype and hope, but end up just an average joe at united......

before a young player played his full season also people saying he cannot succeed in united..

i'm not surprised seeing people bashing their club's own player and labeling them as flop but later when these flops do magics they'll wag their tails in joy and happiness.

as long as a player don the united jersey, he's our player, and not a single contribution from the player will be forgotten.

Ronaldo 1st season was splendid? lol...he's shiet in 1st season...cant cross, cant shoot, give-away ball too much, greedy and his only competitor at that time was Fletcher(suppose to be the next Beckham)...all he got in the 1st season was the hype about the next no. 7 and his style

while Zaha didn't even start any game at Man Utd but yet people criticize/doubt him already after "witnessing a few of his game"....he will play at Utd where great player around him and his game will get better...we can only hope and reserved any judgement about him after the end of next season

I am confident we could achieve top 3 without any BIG signing for sure.

From what I see, NO Realistic transfers around.

When I was thinking who we could get in our midfield , I think Utd are 2/3 short in that department.... So looking at the names that have come up ill be surprised if its any of them... Ronaldo ( dreamworld ) all this bollac ks bout nike paying etc.(ok not a midfielder)................................Thiago not a chance Barthaloner will have some ploy not to let him go and and probably get assurances for next season........Cesc Fab, if and a big if he did come back to England he stated along time ago he would never play for another English club other than Arsenal........Strootman / Fellani not sure if they are of Utd quality....So dont be surprised if another summer go, s by lads with no midfielders..........Unless there are others out there and dont say Modric, Wanyama or Cabaye etc etc.

We would be stupid to go into another season with only carrick as proven CM and cry out for Paul Scholes to come out from retirement again

dont worry, DM love MF, like SAF loved Striker and Winger. im convince DM will buy at least 2 CMs. whether its big signing or a moderate 1, remain to be seen. ATM numbers of big names link to us, but realistically we'll get the unknowns.

if DM Everton style indicate anything, we'll play with 4-4-1-1. not much different with SAF's style. the huge different is the player behind the main striker. SAF prefer a creative one, while DM picked the one with powerful heading ability (Cahill, Fellaini), flank with flair and versatile wideman /AM (Osman, Peinaar, Arteta)

Then again, now the whole story of CR7 is that.. he will sign a new deal, another paper said Ronnie did not say anything. Merry go-round. Fuh. Come on, bring CR7 home. Decided not to print any player's name on my new jersey yet, cross fingers for a marquee signing this summer  tongue.gif

Football is full of lies. Still remember all those comments when he link with Madrid back in 2009?

Ronaldo: "I want to stay. I am at the right club"

Gill: "Ronaldo is not for sale"

Fergie: "I wouldn't sell them a virus"

We'll wait and see

Who is Manchester United transfer target Nampalys Mendy?

Nampalys Mendy is only 20 years old but be has already carved out a reputation for himself in Monaco, the playground of the rich and famous.

Now he has been linked with a move to Manchester United as a free agent after allowing his contract to expire. But who is the starlet set to shine in the Premier League?

Making up the most of his chances
Mendy has always been forced to work harder than his team-mates and opponents to gain recognition on the pitch because of his perceived lack of height and power.

He has twice been called upon to make up the numbers in trials and the first time this happened he was spotted and taken on by Monaco. Mendy was then picked to play for France at youth level when he excelled at a workout but was only called up because more senior players were playing in a tournament elsewhere.

The new Claude Makele
Mendy has been described as a carbon copy of the former Chelsea defensive midfielder. Despite being blessed with a lightweight frame he is a heavyweight in the tackle, reads the game well and has crisp distribution, playing short accurate passes to set up counter-attacks after breaking up play.

Or perhaps the new Patrice Evra
Like United’s left-back, Mendy was born to parents from Senegal living in the south of France and has opted to play his international football for the country of his birth.

Or maybe the new Paul Pogba
Mandy’s countryman joined Manchester United and was tipped for a stellar career at Old Trafford. But Pogba allowed his contract to run down before jumping ship to sign a contract at Juventus where he figured he would stand a better chance of regular first team football. He made 27 appearances for the Old Lady last season.

Mendy also appears to have decided to move to new pastures without consulting his current coach Claudio Ranieiri, possibly fearing Monaco’s new wealth will mean investment in star names who will block his path to regular playing time in Ligue 1 and eventually the Champions League.

International star on the ascendancy
Heralded as a future captain of France, Mendy has played for France at every level from under-17s to under-21.
