Yohan Cabaye has dropped a heavy hint that he would be open to a move away from Newcastle United this summer, with Manchester United a preferred destination.

In an interview with Canal+ while on international duty with France, the Newcastle midfielder said he would "let my agents work for me".

Cabaye is one of Alan Pardew's key players but the 27-year-old, who is reported to be coveted by Paris Saint-Germain and Monaco as well as United, suggested he is keeping his options open. "For the moment I am at Newcastle, you never know what happens in football," he said.

"The season is not finished as I have still two matches [for France]. After that I'm going on holiday and it can't come soon enough to clear my head of the difficult season we have just had, and I let my agents work for me. I have had no direct contact with anyone, maybe my agents are currently in the know."

Asked whether a move to Old Trafford appealed, Cabaye, who stressed he was happy in England, replied in the affirmative. "Yes of course, I like this club for a long time," he said. "I like what they do, the boss [Sir Alex Ferguson] has left, but they have appointed a very good successor [David Moyes], and he did some very good things with Everton.

"They are always well placed amongst the big clubs, yes for sure it could be an interesting challenge but like I said for the moment, there is nothing concrete and I am still at Newcastle."

cabaye..really good freekick tacker..  injury-prone
thiago..good technical Already cool on Manchester United move
fabregas..pure talent Want to stay in Barcelona
CR7.. this is the only signing that I think would happen, rumor has that the deal has been done earlier. SAF Ferguson said before he retired: “Everything is in place for a big signing.

We will end up signing Everton standard player's or those youngster and PRAY they will become Rooney like player in future. Uruguayan Guillermo Varela is a good example. FACT

Let's hope RVP single carry us (if fail to sign Ronaldo) like last season and hope Valencia back to his own shape which I very much doubt on that.

Cabaye is an interesting option. but his record injury put me off. we already have Cleverley, Anderson, and Fletcher. those all have a various fitness issues. adding Cabaye into this equation wont solve our problem. unless he's one of 2 CMs signing.

and Irwin claimed we made an offer to Fabregas. Nani and Evra on their way out to Monaco. Shaw or Baines as Evra's replacement.

Then again, now the whole story of CR7 is that.. he will sign a new deal, another paper said Ronnie did not say anything. Merry go-round. Fuh. Come on, bring CR7 home. Decided not to print any player's name on my new jersey yet, cross fingers for a marquee signing this summer tongue.gif
