What a shocker. Rene Meulensteen is a good coach, why would Moyes wants to 'downgrade' his current role. Would be a pity to see Rene leave, such a good coach. Already reeling over Eric Steele's departure, now Rene's turn. doh.gif

Learn to read properly.

Manchester United first-team coach Rene Meulensteen is set to quit Old Trafford. The Dutchman will leave the champions rather than be demoted back to his former position as head of youth.

Do you know the meaning of demoted?

Rene was a first team coach under SAF btw

Glad that Phil Neville will be back, where he belonged. Need to get used to watching in by the sidelines, unlike previous seasons where he wore the captain armband for Everton.

QUOTE(roti-terbakar @ May 28 2013, 10:28 PM)
what i mean by 'what demoted?' is, instead of the news of he being demoted, there's a newer news where he is said to be quitting the club instead. so by thus the what demoted. you read properly before telling others to read properly. you can say it properly or ask what i meant but instead telling other to read properly is uncalled for.
*
If you would've made an effort to read the post, it was dated yesterday no? When the news was out, Rene was offered a role in the youth team which he declined and quits instead. If asking a first team coach to coach the youth team, if it's not called 'downgrade', what would it be called? De-ranked? Noticed the '' used when I typed downgrade? It's an indirect way of saying it. Who needs to read properly now? Don't jump into conclusion like a trigger happy child.

QUOTE
Rene Meulensteen is set to complete a cull of Manchester United’s coaching staff after asking for 24 hours to consider a change of role under new Old Trafford boss David Moyes.
Sportsmail understands the highly-rated Dutchman has been told his days as first-team coach are over following Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement, but that he can remain at United as head of their youth set-up.

rclxub.gif whatever it is i don't intend on taking a swipe on you at first. i was merely asking if it was a downgrade. yes i know he's being offered to re coached the youth team. yes i know it's a de ranked. yes i know it's a demotion. my point is it's not a demotion if he's quitting!  sweat.gif

nobody wants to start a fight here. you don't have to hit back at others. it was a simple two words with a question mark, don't need to make it so big by calling me to read it properly? how to downgrade if he's not there to be downgraded, is my point. you can ask if you don't understand what my intention is. that's all. we are all a supporter of one big club. it was uncalled for you to question people like that. just chill.
*
If you took an effort to read the word: downgrade, instead of downgraded, it wouldve been a different situation. Obviously I know he did not accept the role hence I used 'downgrade' instead of downgraded. Past tense. Downgraded means he has accepted the role and accepts the change of role, downgrade meand he has yet to accept the role. By the time of my first reply, he has not confirmed about quitting the club, you plucked a news a couple of hours later and you questioned me, what are your intentions? If you were trying to ask a question, ask nicely. Again, I dont like people to jump into conclusions and make assumptions at their own will. I have zero tolerance for that.

Van Persie just can't stop celebrating as Man United striker shows off Premier League trophy at kids tournament in Holland

QUOTE
Robin van Persie had to wait a long time to lift his first league trophy so the Manchester United striker is making sure he savours every moment of this season's Premier League success.
And the Dutchman, aged 29, even took the Premier League trophy to a youth tournament he helps organise in his homeland. After seven trophyless seasons at Arsenal, Van Persie has been keen to show off his success.
He even dealt a blow to one of his biggest detractors after sending him a mysterious package in the post.
Sent to CNN host and Arsenal fan Piers Morgan, who has waged a running battle with Van Persie all season, the package contained a double-sided picture of the Dutch striker kissing the Premier League trophy with one messager eading : 'Piersy my man, thanks for all the support! You made this day even more special! All the best, Van Pursestrings.' The other read: 'Great to be a champ.. so many #Tears4Piersy.'
Morgan had given Van Persie the nickname 'Van Pursestrings' to imply that the former Arsenal captain joined the Premier League champions for money, although he took the message in good humour.
Writing on his Twitter page the former Daily Mirror editor said: 'After all the grief I've given Van Pursestrings, he's allowed a whack back. I'll just have to take it on the chins.'

Nah, Sparky will be a hit.

Always my favorite MUFC player, made a name for himself as a manager of Blackburn Rovers, those were the times when Blackburn was a tough nut to crack. Then Man City somehow didn't work out.. too much pressure I guess. But Stoke will be a challenge for Sparky. Wonder if he will keep the long throw tactic tongue.gif

The only seven European clubs to have achieved the European treble:
1966/67: Celtic (won the European Cup, Scottish League Championship, Scottish Cup, Scottish League Cup)
1971/72: Ajax Amsterdam (won the European Cup, Eredivisie, KNVB Cup)
1987/88: PSV Eindhoven (won the European Cup, Eredivisie, KNVB Cup)
1998/99: Manchester United (won the Champions League, English Premier League, FA Cup)
2008/09: FC Barcelona (won the Champions League, La Liga, Copa del Rey)
2009/10: Internazionale (won the Champions League, Serie A, Coppa Italia)
2012/13: Bayern Munich (won the Champions League, Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal)

So I thought CBP said SAF is a flop..
And where is the best team in England..

*
Only two British clubs has achieved that feat, Celtic and MUFC. And only one BPL team has achieved it. Flop? Lets see MC achieving that

The design was confirmed months ago, just need to officially launch it to the world. Simple, sharp and beautiful jersey. Looks very similar to the England away kit except for more buttons and black collar. Thank god Nike didn't use MC's template for our kit tongue.gif
