Oh Ricardo. I remember his first game against Rovers, first touch and conceded a penalty, he saved of course. Only managed 1 game in 2 seasons, pity him.

The problem is, Thiago is not reject. He has a release clause in his contract stating that anyone can purchase him if he does not play 60% of the games in La Liga hence his value clause value dipped from €90mil to £18mil. Once the clause is activated, he can choose to leave or stay, just like Mario Goetze. Bloody judas.

I wouldnt call Thiago a reject. His performance during the U21 EURO justified his class.

Funny when one is comparing a team that has the best midfield in the world. Tell me, how does a 22 year old fit able to cast aside a team consisting of Xavi-Iniesta-Busquest-Sanchez ? Not forgetting Fabregas and Song? Xavi is 33, has won plenty of medals and trophies during his playing career and still performing at his best, Thiago kn the other hand is only 22 year of age and just won his first international medal? Surely Thiago will get his chances if Xavi is injured or unfit, but how often?

By your way of implying, are Welback, Hernandez and Cleverley considered as rejects too? They dont get to play often, only used when there is a slot available. Does that mean that they are not good enough for us?

If you claim that Tiago is a reject in your eyes, then that is what you feel. Everyone else would welcome a talent like him in OT. Just dont let me catch you supporting him should he choose to sign for us and shine.

I was referring to Barca, not Thiago. Personal terms need to be agreed by both parties but between Barca and United, not necessarily need to negotiate since we can trigger his release clause. Trigger his clause = hit and run, no need to nego one. Just like what Bayern did to Dortmund. Hit Goetze's €32mil clause and done deal.
