IMO he is more Xavi/Iniesta/Fabregas type. naturally a CM that could play AM. certainly not Busquets type of player.

he was (among) Guardiola golden boy. played lesser this season. i think at this moment he is thinking to join Guardiola and Bayern. but Bayern also have strong midfielders core, as good as Barca. in World Cup year, i dont think he is willing to that risk (to join Bayern).

joining United also a less appeal, but to competition with the likes of Cleverley /Anderson/Powell/Giggs/Carrick, i think Thiago have a great prospect to play as a regular starter for United.

i expect him to sign a better deal with Barca. but this rumour sound better than Fellaini et al.

Paris Saint-Germain have yet to make any contact with Manchester United or Wayne Rooney’s representatives with the £40million-rated striker's future remaining in the balance.
Reports in France on Wednesday suggested that talks have already begun and Rooney was ‘very interested’ in joining Qatari-owned PSG.
It was followed by claims that the England international is being offered a four-year deal worth nearly £300,000-a-week after tax to join the French champions this summer.
However, it is understood that no approach has yet been made to United or the player with Rooney discontented with life at Old Trafford.
The 27-year-old is still waiting to speak with new manager David Moyes about his plans having fallen out of favour with Sir Alex Ferguson.
Rooney wants assurances over his role in the team after he being asked to play in midfield at times this season.
He was axed for the pivotal Champions League tie against Real Madrid and then substituted on a number of occasions as his relationship with Ferguson deteriorated.
With two years left on his contract, United are under pressure to tie Rooney to a new deal this summer or sell him.
However, the feeling is that the newly-crowned Premier League champions will find it difficult to keep the striker after he asked to leave the club for the second time.
It is possible that Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester City will offer Rooney an escape route in the Premier League. Otherwise, the options could be limited to France.
PSG and Monaco could both comfortably afford to match his current £250,000-a-week salary.
According to the reports, PSG are ready to tempt Rooney with a contract worth £15m-a-year after tax – the same deal they gave Zlatan Ibrahimovic when he moved from AC Milan last summer.
Whether Rooney wants to uproot his family from their Cheshire home and move abroad after wife Coleen gave birth to their second child this week is another matter, however.
With United looking to sign a new striker this summer – Moyes’ other priorities are a centre-back and central midfielder – Rooney and his representatives know they will have to make a decision sooner rather than later.
Whether that takes him to Paris remains to be seen.

They say Spain has good collection of goalkeepers, but after last night's match it has become more evident that Germany has better group of them. Neuer is just

a monster of a goalie. Then again last night's match was quality. Nothing of the park your bus tactic, all attacking, good techniques and passing from both sides.

Then again both teams are in good form, minus Goetze. If United is in similar form as Bayern all season long, we could perhaps have a chance.  Realistically,

Bayern just has that quality, talents, strength in depth and experience in all departments. United just need one or two experienced talents in the squad and we

should be ok.  Cleverley is still a potential talent there, but can't see him playing in big games for now. Anderson is there but just can't get him fit and play for 90

minutes, let alone all season long. Can't wait to see what kind of tactic will DM instill onto the players to play with.

DAVID MOYES is facing another major battle as Manchester United boss – to keep prize rookie Adnan Januzaj.
The Kosovo-born Belgian, 18, has just been voted reserve team player of the year after an impressive step up from the youth ranks.
But that has alerted Barcelona, who missed out on signing him when he swapped Anderlecht for Old Trafford two years ago.
Now new gaffer Moyes, already fighting to retain Wayne Rooney, is likely to offer Januzaj a new deal.
He hopes improved terms will persuade Januzaj, an attacking midfielder or striker, to snub Spanish giants Barca.
