1) Yes. The reason why Arizona Sunshine doesn't work is because the Steam version doesn't support Oculus mode and requires SteamVR.

For example, Beat Saber has both SteamVR mode and Oculus mode. For SteamVR games, you will see a nightsky aurora loading screen before the game starts. You'll notice it. If you have Beat Saber installed, you can expect SteamVR mode to have better vibrations than previously.

Thanks everything works now. Wanted to ask you too for your guardian u set to room scale or stationary. Cause I'm using roomscale some time feel like the saber cant reach but my body reaction told me it should hit. Usually happens when like those on top right corner then the next note on lower left corner or maybe I'm just not swinging fast enough lol

I use roomscale. But yeah full corner to corner ones are more difficult than it looks, you need to fully extend your arm or rotate your wrist to reach. I wonder if it's because of the Quest tracking range due to using the cameras, and the controller goes out of view briefly..

ya I think its like what you said i was expecting the same thing too swing too back then its out of the camera range then the saber will start float around haha. I assume in PC version beat saber will have this issue too when range of motion is big

Adamas was a good recommendation too enjoyed it.

Default grip. I tried claw grip etc and default works best for me. Index and middle finger held down on the trigger and grab button, and thumbs as well for face buttons.

Default grip is most flexible imo, I prefer to play using my arm movement (more immersive and fun), while claw grip is good for wrist movement.

Tried adding First Person View when recording. A little added latency which caused my timing to be off.. can't wait for my RTX 3080.



Switched to Futaba avatar to suit the Persona 5 song haha.

What card u using now? btw have you ever tried a thunderbolt type c to the quest. Will it charge it while playing?
So far I bought a USB3 cable with no issue but I noticed the battery still drops after a while not as fast as playing the quest standalone but still the battery drops down eventually

Using GTX1070 Ti now. Not powerful enough to max out Half Life Alyx, Stormland etc...

I don't have a USB C to C cable. Actually, you don't need thunderbolt, all you need is USB 3.0 C to C. Thunderbolt is a different spec cable.

I just pull the trigger and preordered Oculus Quest 2, just wondering rather than buying the super expensive official Oculus Link cable which is $79 usb c to usb c, will it work with third party cable like the old usb C to usb A. Intend to play games on Steam VR library as well

No issues with 3rd party cables , just make sure it's USB3.0
