about the reduction in resolution:
IINM you set the DPI to some low number, like 160, or 140. This will fool the software into thinking you've got a lower resolution screen. Again, root needed.

There's guide in page 1. Just flash custom recovery using pc Odin. And flash the root.zip file using the custom recovery in recovery mode

Ok, now my phone is completely charged.

It's from 8:00am ( 1% ) to 11:30pm( 100% ), it's a bit slow btw.

Click on "My Controls" on the top of this forum, select "Edit Profile Info" at the left panel and modify the "custom member title".

The s3m ori charger output just 750mA. Note 2 2A. But still not so fast as I hope so. I'm using my gbeam charger 1A to charge my s3m .

how about my S3 battery life with all the way battery using for playing chinese chess only? (fifth charge)

battery life left 18%, i can make it go to 7h and battery life will still left 8-10% but i don't want to hurt my battery cycle

Anything more than 4h SOT is considered good in most cases. Remember that your standard working day is 8 hours.

I think you're one of the bosses, so you can enjoy as much SOT as you want

I remembered someone in S3 thread said it was impossible i can achieve 4h SOT in 2 days

now it's more than 4h and i can achieve 7h with 2days++ battery life... hehe..

all stock.... cool right?

i will post ss again once i hit 8h SOT

using original charger 0.7A for my s3mini and using original 1A charger for my S3

Is that s3m battery? You don't hurt your battery life if you didn't let it die in 0%.

My charging time using 1A charger on s3m as same as my note 2 with 2A charger, took around 2.5+ hours
