Any solutions to the battery draining issue on Android 4.3?

How long your battery can last during heavy usage?

I haven't bought mine yet. I'm doing some research since my cousin said his ZR battery kept draining. I read the same issues others have on forums while researching

Yeah I know about the Z1 Compact but screen a bit too small already. I like sizes around the ZR or Galaxy S4. More over I need the phone now, and not willing to spend so much on phones. Anyway I bought the ZR already yesterday and so far quite happy with it, pass my water test also. Just wish the battery life can last the full 24hrs, but I guess even >12hrs is already an achievement for smartphones, isn' it?

Not only ZR, even motoG... I think 4.3 does not have a good good script for battery life...

Well my Lenovo P780 does it... with 4000mAh haha... casual user mostly can get 1.5 to 2 days...
Do not worry as my fren uses at least 2 battery per day for his S4 haha... so you are not getting the worst...
I would say his usage is towards moderate only as he mainly uses data for chatting, fb and looking at his shares...
I am looking at this also, I'm not going to pay more than RM1000 for a phone now as technology will move fast... and also Stupid flagship is not as good as u think of, cos they wanna push out faster so firmware sure got bugs n hardware all new and latest... sure got problem...

Yeah, 1st time using is always the most since still trying to learn it and customizing it. After that then should be much less usage, so I hope it will last longer.
Btw I think I'd need to buy the docking charger so I won't need to keep opening that charger flap until it becomes spoiled and cannot hold the water out.

How much is dock charger? Less than 200? Malaysia selling?

I don't know, haven't got time to look for it yet. Yes surely have in MY coz I know someone who already is using it for exactly the same reason as mine. I think he bought it at Sony KLCC.

Buy china dock charger, works fine and cost about RM30 converted. you can buy from ipmart also for 60+ if you want it fast

dully noted... i'm getting ZR as my 2nd phone... hopefully things will go well...

i noticed a drop in battery life since 4.3.

hopefully,4.4 can fix this issue.

My ZR can last about 18 hrs on heavy usage. Mostly on mobile data. About 3 hrs plus screen on. Still running at 4.2.2

Mine can last about 18-20 hour connected to wifi all day with light usage of chatting and fb and 30 minutes of game

I got mine already... nice deal with the owner...
it comes with only 4.2.2 but prompt for upgrade after i connect to my wifi...
so to upgrade or not...

just update it.quite a change from 4.2.2

at a very nice price... consider rarely use and also since 9th Feb...
manage to nego till less than 1k...
