Hi. Mine also just got my zr 2 day ago. I noticed the WiFi connection not very good and hard to get lock. Sometimes connected but cannot access to internet. Very weird.

Hello everybody. Need some help. I plan to root my ZR and to install folder mount. My ZR running 4.2.2 out of the box. I notice my ZR got new message to upgrade to 4.3. OTA.So what is the correct way to root my phone. Root the phone first then upgrade to 4.3 or upgrade to 4.3 then root. Which one is better? Is it safe to root use kingo root.? Tq

Yes my ZR running 4.2.2. Just bought week ago. This morning manage to root my ZR. The DoomLord toolkit kit doesn't work on my ZR. Manage to root using toolkit from Japan website which some post it at xda forum. Straight forward step. No need to unlock the boatloader. Still got bravia engine. I'm happy now.. My ZR still running on 4.2.2 since 4.3 some people experience problem with WiFi, BT and battery drain

How to know the SG firmware?.

What is the issues?. Mine so far work ok. Only notification led blinking rate to slow. Anyone know how to increase the blink rate for the notification light.

My ZR running on 10.3.1.A.2.67 so what version for my ZR?

I use GPS status from play store to see GPS signal strength. Some time my ZR GPS very hard to get lock. Is it normal?

Personally I think because of the ZR build quality. The back cover plastic feel. Not like ZL and Z. Hence the ZR little bit fatter.

Anybody know what will happen if we repeatedly touch the screen very fast. ?? Try touch the one point at your ZR screen repeatedly.let see what happens.... I accidentally discover it just know.. :-D

Actually the scrren zoom in and zoom out. Maybe I activated the magnification gestures.

Update checker? what is the purpose? We can check the available updates directly from. Our phone.

New xperia z1 compact 4.3 inch with latest snapragon processor. Maybe worth to wait if you have extra fullusss... The only things about ZR is low internal memory.

Thank for the link. Actually im not ready to upgrade my ZR to 4.3 yet since my ZR only 1 month old and I already rooted. I keep this update just incase my ZR got problem and need to send to service centre I need to remove the root for warranty by downloading the latest updates via PCC.

In my case I got updates message via ota at my ZR. :-)

Just update the xperia album application thru ota. This new update bring fresh look and New layout photo album and very responsive. Tq Sony..

You can refer my previous post with screen shot on OTA message update. My ZR run 4.2.2 out of the box.

How long your battery can last during heavy usage?

My ZR can last about 18 hrs on heavy usage. Mostly on mobile data. About 3 hrs plus screen on. Still running at 4.2.2

Hi good morning all. Just curious on my XZR. Did overyone notice our ZR network signal never shown 3g connection. I only see G, E, H and H+ only. Im using maxis.My Previous phone is HTC and can see 3g connection. Mostly connected to H and H+. but even connect to H the page loading very very slow. Very bad connection... :'( maxis suck..
