Rather ask them to throw in a cheapo SP & case if possible. More practical right?

well. im not an expert to give a full review of it..

this is my first android phone coz i was an apple user. juz want something new. okay. for me im quite satisfied with this phone.

the performance of this phone : well for me . im satisfied with the performance of this phone. the smooth of touchscreen are perfect for me... the apps were good without hang or lag (mybe its the first day. lol)
and the display was very nice. the color of every picture are very good for me.. satisfy my expectation

back camera : satisfied. because it is very smooth and sony did maintain the quality of their camera with several function and live review of effect.

front camera : ok this is quite bad coz its only VGA quality.. so it was very bad. if you like to take selfie picture. this is not the suitable phone for you.

sound/speaker : quite low. mybe because it is waterproof phone.

overall : i am satisfied with this phone because the quality of the phone with the price.. it is worth it.

p/s : sorry im not good at reviewing.. all i can do is give my comment only.. again.. im not an expert to talk bout the details.. mybe we can hope for the other new user to give a full review.


oh and i want to ask 1 question. what is android blackmarket? im kinda new to android so i was wondering is that similar to jailbreak ios? is it safe for me to download it? can someone gv their opinion bout this? thank you

directd usually will not free sp or case, not even cheapo one, the salesperson will tell "the phone very cheap already lo"

yea. and another info. usually the directD, they play the price with the colors.. yes it is RM 1499 but that price is for the black color only. if u want different color, u need to top up extra RM20 to RM 30 more.

I wanna ask if the black really black and the screen is the viewing angle good?

hurm.. i cant answer that coz in that store they didnt show the dummy set. u juz drop by and tell ur desired color and bla bla bla.. done! (around 15 minutes.. lol) .. all of them were sealed in a box. after u decide what colour they will open it in front of u..



viewing angle : for this its not as bad as they told on web.. its okay i guess ... hurm.. i suggest u wait for sony to display in their store and u can feel urself.. but... i dont hav any idea when sony store gonna display actually thats y im taking the risk to straighly buy.

I think right now the ori price for ZR is RM1499 for non LTE version and Rm1649 for LTE version

I tried XZ, XZL, XZR and Acro S side by side. XZL & XZR screen is exactly the same in terms of clarity and contrast, meaning both still loses to the Acro S. I cannot believe how good the Acro S screen was. But eventually I walked off with the XZL and not the XZR. I guess IP58 in itself is really insufficient to convince me. XZL has a bigger and much higher resolution screen in not much a bigger phone size. It also has double the internal memory size, and a IR transmitter which I sometimes find useful. It seems that both the XZR & XZL uses the same EXMOR RS sensors, which is supposed to perform better in low light. Not sure about the XZ.

.... but there's now another twist to the story. After I picked up the XZL and left the shop, I realized that the earpiece loudspeaker is not working! i.e. I received a call and when trying to listen to the call with the phone next to my ear, no sound. But when I switch to loudspeaker mode, the other person's voice can be heard loud and clear from the rear loudspeaker! Twice factory reset, and updated the firmware to 4.2.2 also the issue remains. Guess I got a lemon copy. It was already too late and the shop was closed for Saturday, and today Sunday, shop was not open for business. Guess I will have to go back to the shop tomorrow to either claim a 1 to 1 exchange for another new XZL, or..... I am fated to get the XZR! hahaha.....
