Yup, we all have different tastes. But i dig both DHI & LIDGE as well, among my favs.  LIDGE just gives me invigorating and mysterious feeling every time i apply it. Totally super  thumbup.gif  ! Glad no need to order online from far anymore as its finally available at our shore at Guerlain's at Parkson Pavilian & at good pricing of about RM240.  rclxms.gif  rclxms.gif
*
rclxms.gif Thanks for the info. Now I know where to get once mine runs out. RM240 is very reasonable considering it a retail price plus you'll still get RM30 Parkson cash voucher. SN is selling at RM243.50 based on today's exchange rate excluding shipping fee.

Yup, i was very surprise too cos it was not available in basically Asia then. I bumped into it in mid April when i was in KL & making my rounds at perfume section at Parkson@ Pavilion. Wanting to have a sniff at Guerlain Homme then & wham ! LIDGE displayed on the shelf. rclxm9.gif  Couldnt believe my eyes then  biggrin.gif  eventhought the black sides of the bottles are unmistakable. Immediately picked it up to hv closer look & sprayed on my wrist. Yea, my eyes not playing tricks on me.  Asked to hav a look at the box and saw they have few bottles as stocks. The salesgirl liked the scent too  tongue.gif . When she told me it costs RM240, I was like "huh !!??"...asked her if she really sure, haha.  Yup, its LIDGE & its RM240    thumbup.gif

I must grab one as backup bottle. Hope it doesn't run out of stock when I going to KL.

Haha no la bro... There are other sifus here have much exquisite taste than me such as bro Kel, astroboy, watzapp...

The sea of niche is still very far from my reach, so trying my best to seek out affordable nice designer.scent lo.... But yet still have to be less ppl use n unique...

U did some nice purchases, envy u so much...
*
Niche is just financially beyond my reach. None from my small collection is niche (I see you have Amouage Epic smile.gif). I try to limit myself to <RM250 per bottle/purchase. As far as I know, no niche fragrance is priced less than that.

I am a huge fan of Guerlain. I have about 10+ of their scents. LIDGE is just the tip of the iceberg. Mitsouko, Jicky, L'Heure Bleue, Shalimar, Habit Rouge, Heritage, Mouchoir de Monsieur, Coriolan/ L'ame du heroes are all masterpieces that will blow your mind off. Give it a try smile.gif

In malaysia we only have habit rouge, shalimar, mitsouko and their less stellar modern offerings. It's the older lines that are amazing. Jicky is available as a tester at the Parksons KLCC counter

Thanks for the info. It really saves me all the troubles and time.

haha, ya, do that. I gona get one on my next trip in couple weeks time. Weather has been wet & cool at my place now, so i'm using all these heavy-deep hitter a lot.
Anyway, if Guerlain decided to bring this in, they will replenish the stock.
On a separate scent, i'm interested to know if anyone have any experience in Mandarina Duck Pure Black & dun know what's the longevity and sillage like for this.

And i also have a sudden urge in Chanel's Egoist....having owned Platinum Eg which i adore & more in the the fresh scent kinda territory.
*
I have Mandarina (Pure) Black. Very sweet tonka bean bomb. Sillage, not sure but projection is good for the first 1-2hr and longevity 4hr on my skin.

So this Duck doesn't last that long in the water ya?  biggrin.gif  But then again, 4 hrs is probably just ok for clubbing or nite out....which i think the sweet scent would suit.
*
Around that 4-6hr range. Never tried it in the club with heat and sweat. Probably would perform better. I much prefer black over one million although they both smell quite similar and the later has better performance.

SOTD - Davidoff Cool Water

Used it as substitute for my signature scent (Roccobarocco Sliver Jeans) of late 90's. Both smell almost identical with CW more herbal. Bestseller in early 90's and Godfather of aquatics (post 80's powerhouse).

It's classified as Aromatic Aquatic on fragrantica but I know some people disagreed to it. I see it as something I'd wear after a swim biggrin.gif

Heart torn between egoiste n prada amber ph intense... Dunno which to go first coz eventually I will get both lol

I'd say Prada Amber Intense brows.gif

However, I think Egoiste might have better projection.

SOTD - Davidoff Cool Water Summer Dive (2011)

Loved CW so much that I got myself one of its flankers (yearly release). This is their 2011 limited edition that I purchased from Parkson but unfortunately I don't have the box anymore. Weak projection and poor longevity on my skin though.

BTW, happy Dragon Boat Festival for those celebrating.

I get good longevity out of CW too but Sliver Jeans performs much better on my skin.

SOTD - ADG

Eventually I grew tired of wearing CW, disappointed with performance of CW Summer Dive and didn't care for CK Escape (x'mas gift from late 90s), I decided to look for a new signature scent.

Walked into Sasa at Ikano Damansara one day, sniffed/sampled all male testers available and only this left a good impression. Bought it on the spot. Found out later it was/is a bestseller from late 90's.

Moderate projection and longevity on my skin.

How much did you get it for in Sasa ?
*
If not mistaken, it was around RM240 at Sasa and RM260 at Parkson. It may be slightly cheaper at Parkson with RM30 cash voucher. RM10 every RM150 spent store-wide and RM10 every RM100 spent at cosmetics/fragrances.

Yea but probably buying online is cheaper. I bought most of my recent bottles from bestbuyworld but ADG is currently out of stock.

Guys, check this out.

Boom! Spicebomb voted 2013's best male fragrance
http://www.gq-magazine.co.uk/style/article...rds-winner-2013

No wonder I caught whiffs of V&R Spicebomb and Tom Ford Noir (or Prada Amber Intense) everywhere when I was in London recently. Have not sniffed the others mentioned so no idea if they were common too.

Hi all, planning to buy Chanel De Bleu, check out everywhere the price is almost the same around rm 278 for 100ml. Will it be cheaper to buy in sasa (havent check it out but i heard they dont sell chanel), airport (duty-free) or some other country like hong kong?
*
BdC is priced at RM272 at my local Parkson counter. You'll still get Parkson RM30 cash voucher to be used on next purchase. I think EU airport duty-free are cheaper than Asean. Bestbuyworld had it for sale at RM220 if not mistaken.
