SOTD - 212 (New Packaging)

Got this tester bottle from Beauty Language store for SGD58 last year when I was in Singapore. Don't really like the scent. Bought it for its good projection, longevity and price.

RM300 will be a bit expensive to get already. SN restocked it a couple of weeks ago and priced at RM243 but it's been sold out already.

However, if you can get Parkson promotional/discount vouchers then it will be worth it.

SOTD - Boss Bottled (#6)

A classic from this house. The only bottle I like and own from them. Got a 100ml bottle from Beauty Language at a promotional price of SGD65 if not mistaken.

Starts off moderate then quickly dies down to a scent skin. Has moderate longevity.

Is your bottle vintage or current formulation? I got mine last year. Doesn't really project much after it dies down. Like right now, it's totally gone from my skin.

It was so cheap I thought it was fake so I compared it with Sasa (in the same mall) until I saw both had the same supplier sticker on plastic wrapping.

The color of that picture is a bit pale but it is still light yellow in color. Sticker at the bottom says P&G Prestige Beaute, Made in UK. Batch code is 2102 that matches the box. checkcosmetic.net says manufactured in 12 of April, 2012. BOSS wording on the bottle is embossed and HUGO BOSS wording is inverted at the back in dark grey. There's an indented hole at the bottom. There is number 2 inside the cap.

It's the same on paper too not just my skin. Please tell me it's not fake.

Mine's lighter than D&G PH. Box is glossy. I've seen others have different numbers inside the cap. Will do some comparisons tomorrow.

It's hyped up for a reason. Niche quality at designers price point. If only PAPHI projected more it would probably get the hypes it deserves.

Just checked my local Shins and they don't have Byblos in Black in stores yet. She gave me different in Black by Frank Olivier to sniff instead. They don't have Boss Bottled too.

Just tried Boss Bottled. One at a fragrance shop with batch code 2137 and one at MJ with batch code 2166. Both are weak on paper and on my wrists with 2166 smelling a little different than 2137 and mine.

This is the first and only Boss Bottled I own so I've no idea how it was supposed to perform. Do let me know once you have sampled current bottle.

Sniffed it at the airport last month as they were doing a promotion. Didn't leave me any impression. I felt it was generic and totally forgotten how it smells like now but I prefer their Oud Noir. Saw Eros at Sasa yesterday. I think they just came in the store.

Thanks. My current top 5 are mostly hyped up designers. As of lately, probably poisoned by you guys, am thinking of making the plunge into niche. Currently reviewing Chergui. Might get a decant from Astroboy22 next month.

As for my Boss Bottled, I've seen reviews saying it's long lasting (probably from vintage bottles) but one thing for sure is that mine is of current formulation and authentic.

SOTD - Mandarina Duck (Pure) Black

Its bottle design first caught my attention. Sprayed on my wrists and liked it. Got a 50ml bottle from Sasa for MYR135. A sweet tonka bean bomb that looks promising but doesn't last as long as I expected. It smells somewhat similar to One Million. Moderate projection although starts off strong. Has moderate longevity. Found out later it's the same perfumer of Encre Noire too.

SOTD - Davidoff Sliver Shadow Altitude

Got this (100ml) from BBW for MYR180 Oct last year. I was still very much into aquatics at that time. Cool looking bottle and beautiful juice. The scent was different from anything I had. However, it didn't take long before I grew bored of it as it reminded me of my generic smelling deodorant. It has moderate projection and longevity on my skin.

URL for fragrancex is www.fragrancex.com, right? Terrible experience. First they said my bank rejected the credit card transaction now after the weekends they said one of the items is damaged but didn't say which item and amount they are gonna refund. Gonna file a dispute report to my bank.

Now they replied with a different reason saying it's out of stock instead of damaged.

I ordered 24 Gold set (with pocket sprayer) and a bunch of vials to make up for the free shipping. They told me just now Gucci PH II vial is out of stock. I'll wait and see. It seems to take forever to ship out my items.
