Tauer's LDDM is $83.19euro (exchange rate was 4.7). Shipping is $9.99 for orders >= $100. Actually, ordered some Floris samples but they were all out of stock and they refunded my $ but shipping fee of $9.99 remained unchanged.

Luckily I managed to grab the last bottle this time as I was told I had the last one. I'm aware it's one of the bestsellers but I didn't expect it selling like hot cakes.

Apparently the three free samples I requested were not available and replaced with random samples mentioned above. The following were the samples I requested :-

Briefly tried all the samples. Oud Save The King smells like many generic oud scents in the market now. Joy Forever smells generic with rose and jasmine. It's far from the classic Joy, which my mom has a vintage bottle of. That one's an aldehydes bomb.

Oh yeah, my decant bottles (glass) of 3ml and 10ml from Taobao came in as well.

Sample of the Day - Ambra by Santa Maria Novella (1828)
It opens up with eucalyptus-like herbaceous accord with birch tar in the background. The birch tar starts to come forward after 10 mins and slowly dominates the scent as time passes. Amber only reveals itself towards the dry down. Projection is moderate (arm's length), which is pretty good for an EdC. Longevity is moderate on my skin.

The herbaceous accord is very reminiscent to amber colored Refreshing Rainbath by Neutrogena and Frankincense & Myrrh room/body mist by Zum Mist, which I own and enjoy using.

Some say it reminds them of Lonestar Memories by Tauer Perfumes, which I have a FB of but I see very little resemblance except for the dominating birch tar note.

If you like birch tar and Rainbath shower gel, you will definitely like this.

New Haul of Imperial Opoponax by Les Nereides
Actually arrived at my local Post Office (registered mail) from Italy last week after 3 weeks but I had to pick it up this morning after waited for almost a week.

Fell in love with it after trying a sample from Angie but it was not until I read about kafkaesqueblog about it made me purchased it immediately (thanks Angie for the eBay link). Many say it's the closest thing to vintage Shalimar. I happen to wear Shalimar EdP of current formulation today but it doesn't smell like Imperial Oppoponax.

The one I have is of the old packaging (100ml) and it's only RM237 (shipped) and it came with two free samples of Oriental Lumpur and Douceur de Vanille. Luckyscent's (new packaging) is priced at $95 (excluding shipping).

Oh yeah, I did briefly test my sample of Opoponax from Luckyscent last night and it smelled the same as the old version.

Ok guys so which one of these will you blind buy?

      Actually it's completely a blind buy for me since I never tried it compare to other scents from MFK.
      But after did a full sampling, it's completely mesmerized me.really love the white floral drydown.
      Some people might say it's more towards feminine but from me experience, it's still manageable
      (not too feminine)

Other than Tuscan Leather I like their Tobacco Vanille.. I got around 24ml free split bottles when I bought my Tuscan Leather.. gonna get a full bottle after my free sample finished!

I find AdP Colonio Leather are a cheaper choice (than Tuscan Leather) to those who like "leather" smells.. What do you guys think?
