Met up with Anige last fri and she passed me a sample of Secretions Manifiques!

You wanna know what it smells like? Imagine this:

You see a stain on the bathroom wall. You go and sniff. And it's last week's 'ammo' that you missed out from cleaning.

That is what SM smells like. It opens with a disgusting lavender and lemon blend which gives it the cold, metallic fishy accord. It then goes down to a bit of vetiver with blackcurrant which only makes things a little worse. Finally, iris and musk appear to make it really sensual.

It makes me wanna puke when i smell it but its not exactly that stinky. I dont find it stinky like poo or rubbish but there's just something in there that makes my stomach turn...

To my nose, D&G The One has sweet and citrusy opening and slowly lead to warm and spicy base
The tobacco is in its vein. Hmm.. I not really hate it but not liking it haha
I prefer dreamer over this
In my opinion, The One is too soft and its performance is not really impressive
But overall it is a nice and safe scent

It's a very woody/sweet scent, and very close to Gucci Pour Homme 1. Very incensy. Not my type of scent tho.

The smell.....suck. I've smell the perfume before and the quality of the bottle worst than 'kicap kipas udang' standard.

Btw there is packaging error on the Lumiere Noire Femme: the cap should come in gold rather than in grey. Now if you were me, would you go back to MFK to ask for an exchange?

I want to try others because I'm new to the designer fragrance world, searching for signature scent. I just think DHI is meant for dates and night out not all day fragrance. Any suggestion?

Yup. That's what I said before. Reason being they are popular and been popular for many years. Chances are high that the ex of the girl(s) you're dating wore it before. With that said, I'm not saying they are bad. Like you said, just try avoid it on your first date if you wanna leave a good first impression. My bottom line has always been, wear whatever your heart desires

On top of YouTube videos, there are many fumeblogs you can read. PerfumePosse is among one of my favorites. I highly recommend reading their Perfume 101 and 201 for a start :-

Dior Fahrenheit is a classic. A polarizing scent. Many either love/hate it for the famous gasoline accord. Glad that you like it. I couldn't see myself wearing it though. With that said, I prefer the Absolute flanker, which unfortunately I heard has been discontinued.

I have a "perfume" fund, where I regularly save a small sum of $ to. You could also fund your hobby by selling decants locally or internationally. Oh yeah, surrendertochance.com also belongs to PerfumePosse that sells decants, which some of us are their regular customers. Decantshop.com is another one I recently just made a purchase from.
