SOTN - L'Eau D'Issey Pour Homme by Issey Miyaki. A long forgotten scent. It was a popular scent back in the 90s and used to be my signature scent when I was in university. I finished the whole bottle and got myself another bottle by using my credit card points to redeem.

I smell of yuzu and ginger on me.

It's still one of my favorites. I sometimes catch a whiff of people wearing this in where I live. I just found out yesterday (in my nose adventure) that 1805 by Truefitt & Hill smells very similar to this or should I say this smells like 1805 instead.
It could be me......

SOTD - Oud by MFK. I never thought that I will wear and indulge in oud scent until I received a few samples from the ever friendly sales associate of MFK. All these while I associate the oud scent 'exclusively' to middle eastern - a very overpowering scent, just like their wealth. However like they used to say: you never know if you never try. You just need to keep on searching for the right combination of ingredients to suit to your personality and body chemical - isn't it a part of the adventure and at the same time, rewarding? Indeed I am starting to develop a deep appreciation towards this scent.

SOTN - Presence by Mont Blanc. It is the very first edition of the Presence, in its old half-moon bottle (the current bottle is less imaginary). It was released back in 2001/02. And yes it has been with me for a good old 12/13 years, about 15% left in the bottle.

I don't know how different is the old Presence compared to the new one but I am definitely enjoying and treasuring the one that I am currently having now.

In fact my very bottle from MFK is the APOM and eventually moved on to own other bottles from MFK. Amyris is a must have in my opinion but APOM is unique in its own way.

I am still contemplating if i should own a full bottle of the Oud. Any chance the doorgift is the Oud?

SOTN - Hollywood by Playboy. I got this as a door gift and seriously it is not as cheap as what I thought. In fact, the scent is quite nice. Musky and woody. A little dark. Produced by Coty, I guess the scent will has some similarities to those A brand fragrances (Davidoff, Balenciaga, Vera Wang, Marc Jacob).
