This is one of the most unique/complex frags in my collection. Very good projection for the first hour but tones down a bit after that. I put one spray on paper strip and two sprays on my wrists last night and my wife could immediately detect it the moment I entered my (small) bedroom. Woke up this morning after 8 hours, it was still there on my wrists but very faint and on paper strip, it was only slightly better.

It opens up with a blast of very sweet raspberry note people are talking about with a strong unpleasant note, which I'm not familiar with. Opening is a bit too sweet for my taste but as it dries down the sweetness is toned down a bit with a hint of oud and it's actually very pleasant but my wife doesn't like it.

However, I don't get Le Male level of projection and longevity on my skin. Not sure if it's due to improper storage and my batch code on bottle/box don't match also. All in all, it's a quality/unique juice especially for that price point. I just wish it projected and lasted more.

Thanks for the updates. I thought you were away in KL. This thread had been quiet for the past few days. Definitely will put my nose on Dolcelisir when I'm in KL. One of the youtubers said it has opening of Pure Malt, mid of Ambre Narguile and dry down of Musc Ravageur.

Thanks. I tried 24 Go Dark last night from the vial I bought together with 24 Gold. It smells similar to LIDGE (w/o apple/lemon notes) so I looked up youtube and one of them made that comparison to it too. Good projection and longevity on my skin but doesn't project as much as 24 Gold.

Having said that, I will still stick to the real deal, LIDGE since it's not that expensive and easier to get than 24 Go Dark.

Gourmand-ish or make-up vibe? I love and wear DH to office. No problem with that.

SOTD - L`Occitane Eau de Vétyver
Thanks to bro edwardleong for this. If it wasn't for him I wouldn't have looked into frags from this house. It was love at first sniff and grabbed the last bottle from BBW for 105 MYR. Moderate projection and good longevity on my skin but works well in the heat. It started projecting when I was out for lunch just now. It does smell very similar to PAPHI and will be sitting side by side with it in my current top 5 soon.

You are right. Cacao is listed in the notes breakdown but I detect mainly buttery iris on my skin.

Got these in the mail today from master Astroboy22. Dipping my toes in the niche pool here and they are :-
- Black Afgano (woody sweet)
- Pardon (balmy sweet)
- Chergui (medicinal sweet)

Black Afgano and Chergui are very complex/unique and like nothing I've smelled before. Pardon on the other hand, reminds me of LIDGE a bit. Kinda neutral here, not love or hate. Maybe they will grow on me.

Yeah, I actually use unscented lotion and petrojelly. It does improve a lot on longevity but not projection. Some perfumes are just weak/reformulated. Vanilla, you mean Le Male? It doesn't settle nicely on my skin too.

Tried aloe gel but didn't work for me. Definitely not nose fatigue, when in doubt I always ask people around me if they can smell me. Anyway, it's always interesting to hear this from a woman's perspective (I'm assuming you are one).

Tried 24 and 24 Platinum last night. Both have very good projection and longevity. 24 has that 90's vibe I won't care much. 24 Platinum is interesting. It reminds me of my wife's Coco Mademoiselle. Went to sniff Crabtree & Evelyn men frags but none excite me.

Sampling this today. Moderate projection and longevity. It reminds me of Hugo by Hugo Boss if my memory does me justice. Had a travel size bottle a while back.

Good buy. Sniffed this one before. I get very natural orange note.

Glade Cool Water and no, it doesn't smell like Davidoff's. Moderate projection in my car

There was a guy standing next to me (about 1 meter apart) at the mall just now and his BdC was projecting in beast mode. I could tell he's a smoker from his cigarette smoke odor. It's either he put too much, spray on clothes or just simply he's a smoker.

I see but I thought you have to let it dry first before spraying? I did try making my own scented lotion by mixing it together on my palms before applying. It helped in improving longevity too but I prefer just to spray it on lotioned skin, easier. Longevity is no longer an issue for me. What bothers me now is projection. I wanna amplify it and I believe I saw one of Tim's youtube vids that lotioned skin will hinder projection. However, I find spraying on clothes will do the trick just fine.

Actually Black Afgano isn't dark black juice as I thought. It's clear brownish color. I have a vial from Astroboy22.

My first bottle from Chanel. Wanted it for formal occasion. Got a 50ml bottle this year from my local Parkson store for RM192 with RM20 promotional/discount vouchers in return. This reminds me of Mont Blanc Legend (black bottle). Actually, I discovered PE through Legend, liked it but bought PE instead as PE is classier. I believe PE has been reformulated as well. I only get moderate projection and longevity out of it.
