Bro edwardleong, i prefer the EDT version because EDP is spicier i think... and the more distinctive tobacco in EDT makes me pick this.. because i like leathery and tobacco accord perfume.

Bro... i think you request the SA to spray on your wrist and walk for abt 10 mins... then you will be able to choose. My wife prefers the EDP but i like the EDT..

No la bro... not the same with chergui, just some notes are similar... i think chergui is a little darker and not as sweet as Volutes. But longevity wise.. chergui wins hands down.
*
Thanks for ur input bro... My gf doesn't like either of volutes lol... I did ask sa spray before d, edp more depth but price wise... I can get chergui or bond no9 I love ny for all...

After being expose to lidge, I found out I like sweet/gourmand lol any suggestions?

Ur most welcome bro smile.gif

SOTN : Chergui
To my nose, it started off with a feminine scent. Then slowly move to unisex but just a bit towards men frag bout 40 minutes later...
Interesting..

Hi, do you get the same similarity to LIDGE for Vetyver?
*
Negative... Vetyver I got strong lime woody opening then drydown to spicy green vetyver

LIDGE open with a mild citrus then become hot sweet chocolate drink

Hi bro... oh you did?? hahaha.... I think if you like this, you can try to get Balderssarini's Strictly Private. Cheaper price and it's affordable too... 1 will be coming back next month and i'm going to throw out some free samples. Those i have no time to review... perhaps you guys can help me out a little smile.gif
*
Dear sifu, we r more than willing to help u sample those free samples smile.gif Strictly private = creame brulee? The bottle design quite same like private blend, very interested to try...

really great scent both of these.lucky to get these samples.
black orchid in my opinion is unisex, open up feminine and floral but middle note smells like polo double black, then the drydown is the dirty oily dark chocolate scent, really nice

grey vetiver, very rich vetiver, but interesting mix of citrusy opening with vetiver, this is my current fave, thinking to get a bottle of this, very versatile and very good for our weather.i think tom ford house is better than creed's. very rich scent and quality are the words i can think of bout tom ford, creed are more natural but not as rich as tom ford
*
Bro... How much per sample for 1 each grey vertiver n black orchid?

After being exposed to L`Occitane frags, went to try another frags from skin care company, Kiehl's. Sniffed all 4 of their unisex lines, only found their Vanilla & Cedarwood interesting and more wearable for men.

Sniffed their Original Musk too but smells very dated.
*
actually i quite like perfume from skin care company as they do what they do best... in between designer n niche with competitive pricing.... Kiehl's Original musk haha it smell dated but it is nice, it is very close to Serge Luten's Muscs Koublai Khan le...

Crabtree n Evelyn also a good house... its West Indie Lime is a lower price DHS...

but what caught my eye now is this company - L'Erbolario.. why? it has 2 damn nice edp: Dolcelisir & Meharees

Dolcelisir is a very affordable alternatives to Hermessence Ambre Narguile; while Meharees has the opening n mid notes of L`Air du Desert Marocain n drydown of Musc Ravageur...

according to website they have outlet in Bangsar Shopping Center, KLCC n One U... under Advanced Apotheke S/B...

I have my eye set on a different purchase.

Anyone could recommend the best place to purchase Creed Aventus? I'm thinking of Fragrancex or Bangsar, btw what's the retail price for Aventus in Bangsar?
*
Ken selling 790 for 125ml

Haihz... i'm so sad.. called up L'erbolario outlet this afternoon and found out they no longer have stocks for Meharees EDP due to slow moving goods... cry.gif but salvaging point is that they have Dolceliser, ambre narguile cheaper substitute, 100ml edp 239.. anyway... i will still go to their shop and pick up the bottle.. the notes are too hard to pass by..

According to fragrantica: Dolcelisir is a delightfully sweet liquor-like perfume, delicate and precious. Top notes include bergamot, orange, caramel and rum. Heart is composed of jasmine, rose, immortal, lily of the valley, cinnamon, sugar cane and cocoa powder. Base features patchouli, vanilla, benzoin, tonka, amber and musk.

LOL. No need to save up bro, as u said the bottle would last u a long long time. I would apply for office use at least once a week & whenever the weather is cooling either day or nite,  & it gets more heavenly when weather colder. Not many ppl smell like this at my place & its a compliment getter for me too.

Am still waiting for my 24 Gold fr FragX. Not as "lucky" as bro t0n3 as my delivery is via USPS mail with no tracking (serial no. starts with LN).  My previous order was also via USPS but it has tracking (serial starts with CJ ). Hope to get it by end of next week though, giving it a 2 weeks timeline.
