Nah i prefer conventional download and update so i can run md5 check and stuff before updating. Plus i need to flash other stuff at the same time gapps, kernel, some of my system apps etc. So far so good, no issue i mean.

So, what did you do to arrest the problem? I am concerned because I use WeChat a lot and now there's a notice for me to update.

Just don't update it. But then it's not a big deal. After the buggy update, I uninstall it and re-install it again. It seems fine now.

You should evangelize them away from it. I've never used it, but I've read some of the popularity stems from it having lots of hot amois to chat with ...... drool.gif

Go settings and turn off the auto update. That is for phone.

If for apps, go market and change from settings.
