it should not be an issue for now for their distribution cable as speedtest to abn server from customer premise is always full speed,as for their 20km radius coverage from abn hq, i believe they should have use their own active optical network for distribution (it should be more cost effective compared to leasing fiber distribution cable from TM). the main concern should be how they route the network packets outside of their internal network to local or oversea exchanges for now (and I admit there is some improvement). The chooses of coaxial cable for last mile is nothing wrong as it work well in America or even our neighbor Thailand are utilizing it well,if the capacity is not enough, they can still upgrade their device to support docsis 3.1 technology which should be available next year instead compared to their current usage of docsis2.0 CPE for 10mbps package and docsis3.0 CPE for 30/50mbps package
