Not bad actually. Some ridiculous tv channel. But I do enjoy some of their unique selection like Comedy Central Do hope they have HBO and such adds on in the future. But I doubt it tho.

Because its depends on the server, I'm guessing the dallas server is jumping to more hoops then the NY server. I don't know their ip so I cant do tracert to see wheres the bottleneck is. or rather I'm not really bothered to know, since my requirement arent that high, not running a web server, game server etc, I'm happily on ABN dling prawn and have rm 100 savings each month.

Usually they put in living hall because of the TV box. A few days later someone will call you to ask opinion on the installer, if u have problem u can complain that time.

Filehosting will obviously will be shit, since you're not a premium member. Thats how they do business.


Also don't stressed to much on speedtest result as they are not great measurement for practical usage. In Malaysia that is the quality you can get unless you willing to pay alot more. Or move to SG, Korea or Japan to get constant max speed on speedtest.

Most webservers will usually allow multiple async connection (except for filehost/streaming site) so your surfing will be greatly improved eitherway

all without gahmen tax is 99.00
with is 100.8

I think they split it just because the interweb is not tax under GST but TV is.

Yeh, their whole system was dead at that time. Not your problem. Happen to me also.

At least its only 20 mins. When I first installed unifi 2 years ago, weeks without internet and I had to pay rm 250 every month even when there was no internet. When they say under sea cable putus la etc etc. No stable interweb for 2 month. When they should fuken refund 2 month worth of internet.


Also come on, its not just the telco customer service. Every CS in malaysia is rotten to the core. Banks, Insurance etc, when they think you cannot get the stuff they will treat you like trash since they won't get commission. gahmen hospital is like the pile of shit in the pile of shit., 7 eleven cashier treat customer like crap. It is because we allowed that mentality. We accept that is the norm. :/

Yep, ABN is shit when you try to use it to host a game server. Ah wells. Cheap things.
Port forwarding doesn't really works. The changes of IP is very annoying even tho it doesn't disconnects.

I remember someone said early on in this tered, coax is from taman to home. and taman from wherever their center is, is connected with fibre.

Probably either bad connection or someone else in your taman taking all the BW. 800KB/s doesn't sound much of a throttle.

Haven't got any bad experience or any problems. Been playing 7 Days to die on aussie server non-stop for weeks now Haven't had problems connecting to server (100 ping) or staying connected for hours, just problems when hosting. Can't host jack $hit.

Haven't had any problems with youtube at peak hours. 1080p no problem. Also torrenting at 1.1 MB/s right now at 11pm aso.

Well, my abn have been dropping connection quite alot lately. Anyone else experienced the same?

Its been a while since I post here.

My new recommendation for whom is thinking of installing ABN. Put your money back in wallet then go to nearest Unifi shop.

Damn their service have gone down the toilet pretty badly. I dunno why are they trying to sell 30 Mbps and 50 Mbps. Cant even fulfill 10Mbps properly most of the time. *sigh*

ipv6? not going to fully adapted till 2020 (only if growth continues exponentially) I don't mind big NAT, I mind that ABN don't have the pipe to serve even current user, but wan to sell 50mbps =.= sigh
