I already got one, but I want something original so I won't be shamed if I wear them in the public.
*
you must be joking, if you wear the fakes i still respect you, if u go and buy the original ones with 300 times the price i will literally spit towards you. PUI

the fake beats sound as good as the original beats anyway

over ear headphones

use for gaming, musics and movies.

*must have mic

im currently looking on the kraken pro.

budget is around RM250/ 50 pounds
*
i recommend steelseries siberia v2, it costs 60gbp

i also bought sennheiser pc323d from hmv for 50gbp, it has nice clarity for gaming but somewhat lacking of bass because it is open backed.

Hey guys, I just got store credit for my SMS audio Pro Performance DJ due to "faulty" reason  whistling.gif
Anyway, recommendations for +-RM600 and +-RM900 please?

I actually like the sound from the headphone above but my ear hurts after wearing it for a while

edit: sorry didn't follow format.

- At home, desktop
- Music/movies/games
- mp3
- pop, chinese pop (taylor swift, disney those kind)
- over ear headphone
*
+-600 ath-m50 <- one of my favourite when listening to taylor swift tongue.gif
+-900 akg k550

you can consider grado series also as a alternative

Hi, I owned an AD700 and it's still doing well after 3 years. I've being thinking of getting it to work since my earphone at office is beyond rescue. But I notice that my headphone is "loud" enough that others can hear what I'm listening to feets away.

So i've being thinking of buying a new full cup headphone, comfortable, minimum noise leak (I don't know if this is what you call it), and the budget is below RM300 if possible.
I'm not an audiophile, just want some comfortable headphone to listen to some music/video throughout the workday.

Thanks in advance.
*
comfortable all day long? bose ae2, it is a a little expensive but bose makes the MOST comfortable headphones. beware of fakes in plaza lowyat though, people bought a fake set there before. for your budget, try creative aurvana live

QUOTE(nivlanauk @ Jan 19 2014, 09:43 AM)
Thanks guys for the recommendations. I bought the K550 smile.gif

What are the cheapest flat cable earphones that I can get with mediocre sound quality? Just for general usage (listening to music, watching videos, etc)? Nothing for audiophiles really. I'm just in a hurry for some earphones that do not sound like utter crap to a level where it's better to not use them at all. And I'm on a budget. I'm fine with anything, as long as the quality of those earphones are what you'd expect from the ones that come with the mobile phones you buy today.

a-jays one, i believe it is only rm150.. better top up rm49 to get beyerdynamic xp series though

I know this budget doesn't do much, just want a general cheap china earphones to gift my friends.
Any idea which earphones fit my budget?
*
go to carrefour or tesco and pick one there

i bought a cheap rm20 phillip branded at carrefour cheras 7 years ago

but for gift, u can go to plaza lowyat and ask those laptop store that u want to purchase those "free gift" earphones that come with the laptop. have some funny designs like medicine pills and stuffs, better for gifts i guess. should be able to get them from rm15 to rm20

If it is for gaming, not so sure about IEM around this range. Usually headphone is more popular. You may want to consider Sades SA-902 which is slightly over RM100. It is a 7.1 surround sound headphone with build in sound card using usb connection (mean for computers). That means can't connect to your handphone.
Tested it before, beyond my expectation actually. For music listening, it sounds like normal music added with a lot of reverb, but for gamer, I guess this is what they are looking for.

the only iem that can control volume on android is a-jays five i think

alternatively, you can consider creative aurvana live 2 if you insist on volume control (it is a headphone though)

I would like to buy an in-ear earphone which cancels the noise of both people talking around me and also constant noise such as airplane noise etc. In other words I would like something which is both noise-cancelling and noise-isolating. I mainly listen to talks and don't care much about music quality. Budget is below RM600.  I use the earphone with an iphone, Galaxy note 3 and a laptop. Any recommendation and where can I get such a product? Thanks.
*
i use se215 during flights from malaysia to uk and i am not bothered by the plane noise. besides, i also cant hear anyone talking to me (which annoys many friends when they call me and i dont respond tongue.gif so it is sufficient for me, not sure about your needs though

Should I consider the Hippo Pro One? And how does the bass sound on Se215s? I've seen mixed reviews
*
according to reviews, hippo pro one have better clarity

bass on se215 is ok for starters but not tight enough if you had already heard better iems. the high in se215 is recessed, so background instrument is difficult to hear. it's hard for a noob like me to explain properly but now as i have ue900 and i went back to se215, i heard nothing but vocals and boom boom boom

however, for the price you really cannot criticise much. it is definitely one of the best iem in the price range.

Ok. I give up on the research and looking for earbud with mic. Do any of you have any recommendation of IEM that are:

Rig: iPhone 5 (and future iPhones), iMac
Usage: Music
Format: M4A
Genre: All sorts
Earphone: IEM
Budget: RM2k max
Others:
1. Comfortable without going too deep into my ear canal, and the tip is small.

2. Small or flat enough that I can lay on my sides with the IEM in my ear and not being pushed by the pillow.

3. Comes with in-line control & mic, or at least have the option for 3rd party cable that has such feature.

Thanks in advance! Happy Chinese New Year!

shure se535, you can buy shure's cable with mic at an additional cost.

ultimate ears ue900 - cable with mic included

westone w40 - cable with mic included

Whats wrong with ue recently? First I got the ue900 at rm900 and now amazon is offering ue6000 and ue4000 at 400 and 150 respectively.

Should I get the ue6000 for that price?

Hi guys,

any review on this Panasonic RP-HTX 7?

like the retro style...one of its class..

Wonder if any store still available for sale?  Thx

A lot of people are using this model in the uk, at least in Newcastle and London.
I was interested in this model before because I like its retro look. I remember reading some reviews and all of them say it has a balanced sound signature. Costs around £40 so it is quite cheap but it doesnt come with mic and remote, thats why I didnt purchase it.
