Have you compared this with Hippo Pro One? I want to get SE215 but well, the connecter issue is holding me.

Senn HD600 paired with Aune T1 (6922 tube), such an improvement from my FA-003. I detect a lot of noise I never heard before... I can "see" the lips of the singer parting apart, the violinist dancing to the rhythm, and the instrument properly arranged in front of me, and the bass comfortably shake my brain, not just my eardrum. Sound real, sound awesome even with cheap DAC cum amp. Oh yeah...

Thanks! I bought the Beyerdynamic DT1350 for rm650 (new).

Headphones are so expensive. a Sennheiser HD700 was rm1800..crazy
*
Where you get DT 1350 RM 650? I get Amperior for RM 550. brows.gif Almost get DT 1350 but I read those who own both prefer Amperior for fun factor.

And I missed HD 650 deal last time. Crazy deal, sold out by head-fier. Damn. doh.gif

i plan to get a pair of amperior as well. it's hard to think why it is now so cheap considering its low impedance, mic cable and lastly, discontinued. it just doesn't make sense.
*
So, what are you trying to say? sweat.gif Me buying Amperior is a bad decision? I don't really get it. laugh.gif Hey, I wonder if you willing to help to buy headphone or music source for those at bolehland, and post it to buyer? biggrin.gif tongue.gif The deal is pretty cheap over there. Too bad most of the time we over here missed those crazy deal. But at least our price is not too expensive from retail price. Some cheaper. I knew that I should grab that RM 4xx ATH M50 the other day. doh.gif

m50 worth the price but many says hd380pro is much better for the price. having the m50 myself i say it's good but i hate the bulky coiled wire.

im not saying buying amperior is a bad decision as i am also considering to get it. what i dont understand is why is it so cheap after it is discontinued? it should be a rare item, right?

i am willing to do so because as i have alliance bank account in malaysia. but the postage risk is on the buyer lo, and also you need to consider there might be duty imposed by the customs if you are unlucky.
*
I read something at Headfonia, it's to boost the sale to give way for new coming and better model IINM. But that's a speculation. Hmmm... Maybe one day I will need your help. biggrin.gif So many great deal to pass over there.

TBH, I prefer Momentum for it's classy look. Hehe... But no drastic price reduction. Sigh... Maybe one fine day.

you mean the hd25 aluminium? but as i said, it's different than the amperior because amperior has mic and lower impedance.

well, i will only stay in the uk until august next year so.. you know what to do tongue.gif

i dont like momentum because it is too laid back for me. i have the momentum on ear. everything is great on it except that the mid is too recessed. so, m50 is my current choice for portable use.
*
I don't know if it's HD 25 alu. I thought HD 25 alu is limited or special edition. Haven't read about that model yet. August still far away. biggrin.gif There will be a lot of coming deal.

Guys, seems like no one selling Dunu Trident anymore. Well, I go to audio related sub-forum and search for Dunu Trident and most of the sale thread not active anymore. Can someone tell me where to get this IEM?

And any comparison to Shure SE 215 and Hippo Pro One?

Or how about Dunu Trident vs Shure SE 215 vs Hippo Pro One.

Dunu Trident? It's more for basshead, even thought there's hint of charity. and compared to other two model you have stated.. it is the only one with dynamic driver.
SE215 does have the detail and rich sounding bass response, also warm and sweet vocal. Meanwhile, Hippo Pro one is sort of neutral sounding, with mid centric emphasis. Both of them are having BA drivers.
*
Not really a bass head TBH. Even HD600 bass sound good IMO. I think will grab SE 215 LTD. I think the bass will be polite than Dunu Trident bass right?

Indeed. the SE215 has accurate bass response, it is not bassy but slightly warm sounding. I would get the ProOne if ain't liking the warm sounding.  wink.gif

I love bright, and I love warm too. So I can listen to both. What do you think for fast song. SE 215 or Pro One?

You mean clarity? Impression on bass for SE 215 vs Pro One? So you compared both I suppose right? How about detail comparison?

doh.gif Yes.. clarity, sorry for the typo.
I have heard both of them before, SE215 bass response is rich and textured, meanwhile Pro one extends the bass with speed.
Both from amped source.
*
Ahhh... Just realized the Pro One that I aimed been taken. Haha... SE 215 LTD it is then.

I'm getting a Aune T1 with 6922 too, any impression?
*
What's wrong with HD600? sweat.gif May I know why you want to buy Aune T1? And what headphone? EH 6922 too bright for HD600. I do have plan to sell my T1 but will experimenting entry level DAC along with mid entry amp. I can't say T1 is great or best DAC amp because I only compare T1 with Xduoo TA-01 and Yulong U100. These all are DAC amp, and TA-01 is the best between this RM500 price range. BUT, I face some weird issue with TA-01 DAC, and I suspect windows 8 driver issue?

But the reason I get T1 is because I can use the DAC for my speaker. I still wait for my I 3 Amperex Orange Globe tubes, stuck at post office. doh.gif Most of the owner claim Amperex OG will definitely improve the bright issue, balancing the DAC with bright amp. Now I'm using T1 as DAC and TA-01 as amp, I can say that T1 amp definitely bright. Maybe get T1 then get O2 or Schiit Vali later? This is headphone thread. And I afraid this will make some Nazi uncomfortable. Just shoot me PM anytime.

Should I get Sony Walkman for jogging or get sport earphone? I'm not really familiar with sport earphone but I know that Sennheiser got sports earphone line up. I tried Samsung phone earphone, they tend to fall from my ear... While the created for sports seems like stable clipped at ear.

Last week i saw that Jaben having demo units sales. ATH-M50 demo sets cost only RM180!!!I went to Jaben but unfortunately it has been booked by others. Damn~ So I ask the the workers there: "Is there any alternative for ATH-M50? My budget is around RM150." The worker replied: " Nope, sorry." Ok. I know I am asking a stupid question. sad.gif
Hi-Fi audio comes with a premium price, but does it mean that I need to spend a lot of money to get great sound? High end, pricey headphones definitely have their place, but how about poor fag like me ?
I think we can get great sound on a budget. For sure, it won't be as good as the expensive, super high end headphones, but it is good enough for most people. Most of us listen to lossy mp3, watch youtube, movie on computer and smartphone. I have do some research and here is some great budget headphones. Most of them do not sell in Malaysia, need to order thru taobao.

1 Takstar Hi2050Below RM200
There are a lot of good reviews about this headphone. It is open-back and looks like beyers, but it sounds differently. Some lowyat people discuss about it, but it not as popular as another budget headphone SUPERLUX. It looks like have a better build quality and more comfort compare to SUPERLUX.

2 Takstar pro 80Below RM200
This pair of headphones is the closed version of Hi2050, both of them share the same drivers. It gains a lot of positive review in Japan. Head fi forumers claim that it sounds better than Hi2050 and it comes with a very nice box.

3 Takstar HD6000Below RM300
It is a upgrade version of pro 80 tends to have more bass. Bassy head can check this out, it looks nice~  I think it looks better than beats headphone and sounds better. tongue.gif Is hard to find review about this headphones because it is new Takstar flagship headphone. Little review about them.
[attachmentid=4036684]
4 Somic EFi-82 MTBelow RM200
Another underrated headphones. There are two version for this headphones, one is Somic EFi-82 pro, another one is  Somic EFi-82 MT. The pro version earpad is a little bit different.
A lot of reviews from head fi:http://www.head-fi.org/t/647289/somic-efi-82-mt-believe-the-hype

[attachmentid=4037149][attachmentid=4037150]
6 Somic MM163Below RM200
It looks like ATH-M50, but sound more neutral and monitor like. It has less bass impact and again it is cheap!

There's a lot of quality and potential China brand which doesn't imitate other brand. Aune T1, and FiiO X3 served me well and my most used source.
