i plan to get a pair of amperior as well. it's hard to think why it is now so cheap considering its low impedance, mic cable and lastly, discontinued. it just doesn't make sense.

m50 worth the price but many says hd380pro is much better for the price. having the m50 myself i say it's good but i hate the bulky coiled wire.

i dont like momentum because it is too laid back for me. i have the momentum on ear. everything is great on it except that the mid is too recessed. so, m50 is my current choice for portable use.

Dunu Trident? It's more for basshead, even thought there's hint of charity. and compared to other two model you have stated.. it is the only one with dynamic driver.
SE215 does have the detail and rich sounding bass response, also warm and sweet vocal. Meanwhile, Hippo Pro one is sort of neutral sounding, with mid centric emphasis. Both of them are having BA drivers.

Indeed. the SE215 has accurate bass response, it is not bassy but slightly warm sounding. I would get the ProOne if ain't liking the warm sounding.

I have heard both of them before, SE215 bass response is rich and textured, meanwhile Pro one extends the bass with speed.

Last week i saw that Jaben having demo units sales. ATH-M50 demo sets cost only RM180!!!I went to Jaben but unfortunately it has been booked by others. Damn~ So I ask the the workers there: "Is there any alternative for ATH-M50? My budget is around RM150." The worker replied: " Nope, sorry." Ok. I know I am asking a stupid question.
Hi-Fi audio comes with a premium price, but does it mean that I need to spend a lot of money to get great sound? High end, pricey headphones definitely have their place, but how about poor fag like me ?
I think we can get great sound on a budget. For sure, it won't be as good as the expensive, super high end headphones, but it is good enough for most people. Most of us listen to lossy mp3, watch youtube, movie on computer and smartphone. I have do some research and here is some great budget headphones. Most of them do not sell in Malaysia, need to order thru taobao.

1 Takstar Hi2050Below RM200
There are a lot of good reviews about this headphone. It is open-back and looks like beyers, but it sounds differently. Some lowyat people discuss about it, but it not as popular as another budget headphone SUPERLUX. It looks like have a better build quality and more comfort compare to SUPERLUX.

2 Takstar pro 80Below RM200
This pair of headphones is the closed version of Hi2050, both of them share the same drivers. It gains a lot of positive review in Japan. Head fi forumers claim that it sounds better than Hi2050 and it comes with a very nice box.

3 Takstar HD6000Below RM300
It is a upgrade version of pro 80 tends to have more bass. Bassy head can check this out, it looks nice~  I think it looks better than beats headphone and sounds better. Is hard to find review about this headphones because it is new Takstar flagship headphone. Little review about them.
