Do make sure you get them from a trusted reseller like Penonaudio.com. Lots of copies and fakes an eBay.Headphones Headphones/ Earphones Recomendation Corner V9, ask options here

QUOTE(+Newbie+ @ Apr 8 2014, 02:11 PM) Well for some reason, it shows the only option for me is paypal. I think I'll just go for the amazon seller. As long as the seller covers international shipping. Reason why I recommend penon is that they have free shipping (7-10 days) instead of having to go through forwarding services |

QUOTE(Stefan How @ May 7 2014, 07:49 PM) Guys,is Yamaha eph 100 worth buying? Im using it for my phone Fostex TE-05. Fast precise bass, clear mids and very clean reach in treble.Mp3 320kbps Use during commute in train. Need portability and good noise isolation. My budget would be 400 below maybe can raise abit if there is any better iem. Thanks in advance guys Isolation is also pretty good. |

QUOTE(Stefan How @ May 7 2014, 09:29 PM) Yes, im talking about the soundstage, how about tremble on those yammy XD ? I heard they have good instrument seperation and good clarity. It's been quite sometime since I heard the eph-100, but from memory they didn't wow me when I had them. Separation and clarity, the Fostex clearly wins. By quite a large margin. |

QUOTE(Stefan How @ May 7 2014, 09:44 PM) Dang..my budget is so limited..but both of that was amazing :S And most IEM i see ppl recommanding is usually from JP idk y If you're looking for something lower then the TE-05 then try the Zero Audio Doppios. And it's because they know how to do sound right(mostly) Sony, JVC, Phillips, Audio Technica all are very good at what they do. |

Comfort problems are the usual thing with on ears, especially those with rather sensitive ears will have a hard time with them.
Iems should be a much better fit for you. |

QUOTE(farisq @ May 9 2014, 05:40 PM) Rowan, have you actually purchased from penon before? I'm thinking of getting IEM from them... Hows your experience? I bought both the B3 Pro and Kc06 from them. Very good customer service, fast response and very friendly. Don't be afraid to ask for a recommendation from them. |

Soundstage is the feel of dimension you get when you're listening to music. Some softwares might say they can enlarge it, but most of the time it's a bad implementation and could cause you to lose certain details of the recording itself.
E1 is very friendly. Don't be afraid to drop by just to try out the headphones you want, you might even find something you like besides the M50x.... A pair of IEMs for example, or even the Ditas. XD |

QUOTE(E1 - AKG @ May 22 2014, 07:34 PM) Actually, active noise cancelling does not work that way ^This. Noise cancelling only works on background chatter and ambient sounds, otherwise it'd be called sound-cancelling.It only removes constant noise like an air-con hum and not accidental scream of a child streaking by you QUOTE(joshuachew @ May 22 2014, 08:17 PM) If one could afford it, sure. |
