I'm honestly a little disappointed with HTC with this HO. It was their comeback for this year, to go against the biggies like Samsung, Sony etc etc and a chance to give a good name to HTC.
But guess they failed on this part. But to note, we were kind of given a small window for release date in Malaysia, thats around early to mid may.. So still awaiting some good news from my fellow forumers here and from SENH/Q. |

QUOTE(Glen Quagmire @ May 6 2013, 06:42 PM) HTC Malaysia really has some incompetent staff. They need to fire whoever is in charge of marketing here and hire someone new and fresh. Can't really blame the ones in FB tho. There might only be one person in charge of that, maybe many, we won't know. But let's imagine if its one person only.. He/she has to deal with customers day and night. And won't have much time to entertain FB requests. Cause it's maybe the same thing he/she deals with in a HTC store or call center or whatever. No use posting no their facebook page, they don't reply. No clear indication on when their products are going to be on sale, not even a notice to customers about delays. It could come tomorrow, the day after, or next month, BUT NO ONE KNOWS! Oh, and can I add, the staff in the HTC store in Sunway Pyramid are utter wankers - bad attitude, lazy and incompetent Where's my HTC One ah? Why not people reply one ah? Why this why that? You'd be bored yourselves, innit? P.S : That's malaysian staff to you This post has been edited by vanillazai: May 6 2013, 06:51 PM |

QUOTE(AnnaHui @ May 6 2013, 06:43 PM) Hello HTC users! Yup, +1 for S4. But still, it all boils down to you. If you're not interested in 15000 word reviews, stick to youtube ones.. Am a hardcore Samsung Users so there's a little questions for HTC users (considering to jumpship) 1. Does HTC One allow users to download latest firmware and install on the phone immediately like Samsung? 2. I'm a gamer, but I don't do anything like rooting or flashing. Too lazy to read and learn. And I have a tablet too so basically maybe a little gaming + most of the time will be incoming/ outgoing calls/ whassap/ browsers/ camera and alarm. That'll be my main usage as I've another tablet that I use to game I'm also the type of person who doesn't like troublesome gadgets as in -bad review with bad CS service centre or warranty took long procedures and periods. I see that the S4 have camera problems. So manatau, I'm that lucky then jialat liao! Would appreciate a lot for those who can advise based on my question. Thank you! 1. Kill time while eating. 2. Kill office time. 3. Whatever that you do. |

QUOTE(Glen Quagmire @ May 6 2013, 06:51 PM) You would think that for a multinational, multi-million dollar company like HTC, they can afford to hire more than one staff to take care of customer relations? And facebook, like it or not is a huge part of that. Well that boils down to HTC themselves. I'm just saying there might be only one person managing it. Sure, they can hire more staff, but would they? Facebook is a huge part, but maybe they think that its just to promote phones and etc and not to answer people More staff = more cost. |

QUOTE(Glen Quagmire @ May 6 2013, 06:58 PM) If it were up to me, customer experience should always come first. Look at samsung stores now, so many display units available for testing. If no one can try the phone, who will buy it? Only those who do their research thoroughly and know how good the phone is. True, a good customer service will give customers a good experience.. But it is what it is, we get no display sets... no replies, vague answers.. What to do? Fairly disappointed still.. Worst case scenario for me is to buy it when i'm heading back to the UK in June.. have to deal with my slow as hell iPhone 4. This post has been edited by vanillazai: May 6 2013, 07:03 PM |

QUOTE(micgil @ May 8 2013, 10:20 AM) Who says? I've been using iPhone 4 all these while bcoz I don't see any Android phone that can beat the smoothness, simplicity and the aesthetic side of iPhone until this HTC One came out. Also coz I'm a bit bored with iOS hahha...I'll be converting but still an Apple fan! +1 cause i'm using iphone 4 and switching to HTC one. But no, not an apple fan anymore. Same crap over and over again. |

QUOTE(shockk @ May 9 2013, 01:17 PM) most places even got stock now, would have already been sold out. got to be quick. best chance now is Senheng, etc. and due to super high demand and low supply now (just speculating), some retailers might even mark up authorized sets to be higher priced. I'm just worried when i get my hand on the phone, there will be HUGE GAPS. LIKE YO MAMA. (jokes aside)yes indeed bro! maybe later.. if i'm not too engrossed with playing the phone then. Thanks for the link bro. Seems that local sets are FRESH OUT OF THE OVEN. As below the details from link: Query to the information you provide IMEI number is: Models: M7 # UL_B1258L37. C9; Sales of Origin: Malaysia; Release date: 2013/04/30. Yes, hehe. The great JayceOoi is here, yours should be coming soon too. Then i can't get it changed because of the low supply.. Haih. I just want to get it as soon as the phone reaches the store.. |

QUOTE(shockk @ May 9 2013, 01:39 PM) Well, if the gaps are not going to cause any issue with you using the phone, why be so picky about it? I know everyone wants a perfect phone, but sometimes we just have to give in. I know many would rather gap huge gapped phones than not getting any phone at all. Not looking for perfection... Nothing is perfect.. well except for emma stone. But still i don't want a huge gap. I don't mind tiny gaps. If i get a huge gap, i'll probably cancel the preorder, buy something from SENHENG and get the HTC One in the UK when i'm going there next month.. |

QUOTE(shockk @ May 9 2013, 01:53 PM) After checking in Google, seems that all the gapped units aren't really that huge. So the chances are good for you. LOL Anyhow just ask Senheng to refund you if they can't give you a good unit. If its that bad i'll probably find DirectD or something like that first, cause i've counted and the phone in UK without a plan is about RM2499... so yeah |

QUOTE(Glen Quagmire @ May 9 2013, 02:11 PM) Nicely? Sure...But i'll probably do this... "I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don't have money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let my HTC ONE go now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you." How's that for nicely? This post has been edited by vanillazai: May 9 2013, 02:14 PM |

QUOTE(entity @ May 9 2013, 03:40 PM) same here, i missed out on pre ordering earlier. Now in desperate need of buying one before mothers day xD. Maybe i'll bite the extra rm200 importers are charging..although RM2499 is pretty high @_@ Do look for DirectD or something like this in previous pages.http://www.lelong.com.my/htc-one-m7-32gb-o...3-07-Sale-P.htm It's cheaper. |
