QUOTE(Bigfoot-X @ May 7 2013, 07:25 PM) What if you diversify your interests bro? Haha.. bro... I have been in LEGO for so long already... I never collect other stuff at all... Example I wasn't into LEGO before - in fact I'm still collecting other stuff like Hot Toys and miscellaneous toys. But slowly and surely consolidating. Will never and ever split my loyalty from Lego This post has been edited by hades4eve: May 7 2013, 07:29 PM |

QUOTE(vey99 @ May 8 2013, 10:26 AM) i believe we usually have a choice. perhaps you want to think about what you want to achieve in life, and is all this working like a "cow" helping you achieve it. /endseriosecatpost I am trekkie also but i understand their merchandise is centralised. There is a couple of MOCs and custom minifigs around but not much. hardest part would be the minifigs. imagine try to design seven of nine... |

I forseen my wallet will bleed heavily soon... gonna join beggar clan soon Some stock updates from supplier: 10228 Haunted House is NOT discontinued. I apologise for misreporting this. It is confirmed Monster Fighters is to be discontinued and stock is already running low. However, 10228 Haunted House while belonging to the Monster Fighters theme, it is a Lego Exclusive set so it will remain in production even after Monster Fighters theme is discontinued. Here are some prices and availability of upcoming sets that may interest you, this list is not comprehensive just random sets I find newsworthy: Technic 42009 Mobile Crane MK-II RRP €199.99 (August) 42008 Service Truck RRP €119.99 (August) Mindstorm 31313 Mindstorm EV3 RRP € N/A (August) <--- Seems different language different price. QUOTE(paanjang16 @ May 9 2013, 09:48 PM) On the way back I stopped by TRU Pyramid just to scout the stock there. You know, in case there is a hidden Mr gold there..... Just wondering, how you determine the minifig already dipicit? But Pyramid got no new stock! So decided to head over to Empire to buy the superman set with general zod and Louise Lane. The S10 all kena picit-picit already, so did not buy any. And no, there is no Extremis Sea battle in TRU Empire. |

Guys, I need some opinion...
I'm looking for AT-ST. So I look at 2 set... 7657 AT-ST and 8038 The Battle of Endor (which also have AT-ST).. But from the review I saw, its very hard for me to make decision on what to buy... 8038 AT-ST got chicken feet and the TECHNIC mechanism doesn't work because I can't simulate run when the AT-ST is landed on surface... so the TECHNIC feature is practically rendered useless. It has lot more minifig and other stuff like bunker / speeder and catapult and stuff... 8038 review with Chicken Leg AT-ST demo video embedded As for 7657 it only have 1 minifig and AT-ST itself, but looking back... the AT-ST looks sturdier and solid... but the set is only AT-ST itself is the star in the set... the TECHNIC feature can use because it will turn the cockpit around... 7657 AT-ST review from Eurobricks So if you guys choose, which one would you guys buy? QUOTE(vey99 @ May 10 2013, 11:41 AM) my kids take and play around other sets Hahaha... Darth Vader at Apple Tree House and having tea with FRIENDS minifigs? so far my most played set is apple tree house , everything happens there. leceh la selling stuff. maybe giveaway the toy to charity la. QUOTE(Caryane @ May 10 2013, 12:23 PM) I think if you buy the parts to assemble 7657, it should be cheaper than buying the set. MOC-ing it need to hunt for parts gonna take forever.... I malas so terus buy instant-noodle styleBut more trouble looking for the parts lor QUOTE(ilfort @ May 10 2013, 12:23 PM) Buy and regret lor. Hahaha Hahaha... 8038 looks nice as it is big set... but the AT-ST.... macam.... chicken baru lahir ajeCannot say one, got people buy 1. Just go for 8038 version. 7657 was so. . . square. . . . QUOTE(Lego_Jason @ May 10 2013, 12:25 PM) Hmmm... I think reviews sometimes cannot be trusted 100%, you may play it differently while the reviewers are generally trying to scrutinize and find fault with the build. So why not just buy both and decide yourself, write your review after that? Well, I'm ain't trusting the review as they may not seen the newer set when they write the review therefore they got nothing to compare with, you see. I dun have so big budget to buy both together |
