I just wonder why most of u never thought of staying in lake batur.its a real different experience
with the cool wheather and nice scenery, and also experience the daily life of the local ppl. they
so friendly and helpful.
last mth i spent a night in the Lakeside Cottages in Toya Bungkah, the hotel is just besides the
lake batur, behind it is the closer view of the mt.batur.the room rate is btw us12/= - us28/=
the room rate for a deluxe lake side bungalow is just us28/=

just out of quiriousity, how did you get up to mt batur and come back? i mean, did your driver stay up there with you? or you hire a taxi to send you all the way up there and back the next day?

our driver pak mul follow us to lake batur,he stay in lakeside cottages as well, actually
we want to pay for his stay,but the hotel boss gave him a place to sleep foc. so we can
hv more time up in mt. batur.

Btw, has anyone tried this trip to East Bali:
Ubud -> Iseh & Sideman -> Tirtagangga -> Pura Lempuyang -> Candi Dasa -> Ubud.

How long would this journey take? At least 10 hours?

And is it worth spending 1 day doing this in a 5-day trip?

Do you have any package for 4 days 3 nights stay at Hard Rock hotel included travel tour?
How much? I got it for RM720

As when I m at Hard Rock Hotel, I saw the cheapest room per night is USD220++

that rate is for walk in... tour operator take room in bulk so u can get them at a price with more value...

im looking for just ground arrangements or tours only for 3 - 4days in bali.. anyone? hotel already got.

@Akunana, Comment on your trip....Wondering why u din include Kintamani/ Mt Batur as part of the itinerary? It a must..U can slot in as part of your trip to Bedugul.

BTW, cut short ur trip to Uluwatu/Nusa Dua ..It's not so far away from Kuta & road is better there...probably skip melia & is threre any waterfall in Nusa Dua?? That's a low area-leh?

Would like to check with anyone who has hired Jhony or Wayan? Do they normally include parking and entrance fees in the IDR 300,000 that they quote for a full.. They sms me that it is excluded

i've read guide books listing tirtagangga in their top 10 places to visit in bali...so it should be worthwhile. It's just a little far, all the way in the east.

Anyone going to Bali during new year time?
