I suggest you don't get the AP set. Its a new model and there might be some design issues. We've already heard of some devices over heating and the random reboot problem. Better stick with the SME sets to ensure you get full warranty coverage in case your set is one of them

Just got my S4 yesterday. So far so good. Updated the phone. Was worried about the camera restarts mentioned a few pages back, but so far has not happened. Love the screen. So sharp. Camera is really good (compared to my previous phone which was the RAZR).
First impression of the S4 is it's great phone. Will use it for a month before deciding to keep it or let it go.

Roms are nothing special really. Almost anyone can make roms hence so many floating around forum of devices that have been around for some time

What will be more important are mods like jkay/simplistic, kernels, themes etc.

Officially a S4 user since thursday. Using latest firmware. So far so good, no hang no reboot. Just facebook messager not working. Anyone facing that issue?

if you're exasperated by the constant reboot of the phone whenever you're using the camera app please enable the option to only run 4apps simultaneously in the background.

That's why the Note 2 users are bored with no problems to discuss except the occasional SDS question.

Anyway I think the s4 is still a great device, and will improve once they iron out the bugs.

Phone good only some software issue. My S4 only had problem with Celcom simcard cannot send sms, other function o.k. Get Note 2 if want less problem samsung.

my s4 cant root..there is no root in the menu....my baseband version is DXUAMDK

Yesterday, send to Celcom. They reset/format the phone but still same problem. They replace with new simcard but same problem cannot send sms. We decided try with other no but celcom simcard still same, try with other telco simcard, success can send sms. Conclusion my S4 cannot use Celcom simcard.

They don't replace with other phone but asked me to go to Samsung center to check. At Samsung they reformat/reset the phone again. After one & half hour, they call me to collect the phone. Put back my Celcom simcard still same problem, they try with other celcom simcard still same. At last I asked them put other telco simcard & success. But they also no replacement provide but asked me to go back to Celcom Bukit Rajah for replacement or go Samsung Summit for another check coz the said Samsung Klang no replacement procedure. I go back to Celcom branch Bukit Rajah but the office closed.

Now, 

TS should be proactive and update the first page on latest/new ways on how to root the phone.
