Is it really worth to upgrade my y500 650M SLI? Huhu..

Hi, anyone know what happen to my Y400?

I just bought less than a month but already see this BSOD 2 times.

I added a stick of 8GB RAM inside at day one.

The first BSOD time is day one I using this laptop, then second time is
today. 

I didn't do any BIOS change or something else, just normal use.

But if the seller has official receipt then no problem right?we can go straight to lenovo malaysia service centre??

There is a reason why I called the technician retarded. 

I wasn't there when my Sis bought the laptop and she isn't exactly a tech savvy..
Anyway do I need to bring the receipt when I visit the service center?

Hi guys, just want to ask, if I'm buying a lenovo laptop in Malaysia, can I claim the warranty in singapore? Cause I see it's written there international warranty..not sure whether this works or not... anyone got experience about this?

This is a concern that stops me from asking my relative from buying it and bringing back when they're coming here for their Holiday.
So if you have the original receipt from US, Local Lenovo will cover warranty, no questions and hassle if its a legit claim and not User major f-up?
Are his set covered by Local Lenovo warranty? Does he give original warranty? His pricing looks quite good. These should be BNIB or refurbs?

please do report back if it really works... actually I won't be surprise if it works... just that normal 3rd party won't work... but if it is build specifically for that model, it should work... the reason it won't work before just because the shape is different  

Almost 4 months since I sent my Y500 to SC...really fed up with all of this...why can't they just give me a new unit instead...work done so far by them...changed processor, hdd, motherboard, battery, psu.....now cannot install window....product key not matching...

When I asked Lenovo, they said the case is close after replacing the affected components.

how can they closed the case when i still haven't received my laptop.

Guys, any idea how to get my money back?

im quite confused with Y410p screen resolution. is it 1600 x 900 ?

cheap but no 1 to 1 exchange if defects, questionable after sales service and warranty claims.
Its better to get the upcoming local set to save ur headache.

If you got the receipt from the US retailer, should have no problem... if you buy one from reseller here in Malaysia, ask them for the receipt if they can give them to you... else, you will need to ask your reseller to do the warranty claim for you.

I looking at y400 and y410p ssd models. I wonder if the OS is installed on the ssd thus giving instant on and quick boot of the programs? If not why is the ssd offered? Thank you!
