QUOTE(freezer @ Jun 28 2013, 10:50 PM) But if the seller has official receipt then no problem right?we can go straight to lenovo malaysia service centre?? u need invoice from US seller if u bought US set, not from Local seller, dont misunderstanding , if u failed to show it, they will ask u to show travel visa to proof u did visited to US. For ur info, those AP seller will ask you go to Singapore or Indonesia for warranty if Lenovo Malaysia services center have question you. - By the way, within 7 days , if you Laptop has problem , AP seller would not change new set for you, all you can do its pray hard some one willing to replace or repair for you This post has been edited by devour: Jun 28 2013, 11:21 PM |

QUOTE(genecor @ Jul 14 2013, 05:19 PM) This is a concern that stops me from asking my relative from buying it and bringing back when they're coming here for their Holiday. you should wait Malaysia set release first , compare the price, if US set ( that you ask your relative bring back ) only have one year warranty , while Malaysia set offer 2 year warranty, but pricing only like rm 300~ 400 different, you better buy Malaysia set as not much hassle So if you have the original receipt from US, Local Lenovo will cover warranty, no questions and hassle if its a legit claim and not User major f-up? Are his set covered by Local Lenovo warranty? Does he give original warranty? His pricing looks quite good. These should be BNIB or refurbs? |

QUOTE(mrl @ Jul 20 2013, 11:59 PM) please do report back if it really works... actually I won't be surprise if it works... just that normal 3rd party won't work... but if it is build specifically for that model, it should work... the reason it won't work before just because the shape is different |

By the way , rm 80 courier charged to east malaysia is acceptable =) , for example take citylink courier pack , first 2.5kg - rm 25, consequence 2.5kg - rm 25,
the laptop it self already 2.7kg, not yet included backpack, adapter ( if 170 w adapter , size and weight very big) and so on things....reasonable =) This post has been edited by devour: Aug 2 2013, 05:41 PM |

QUOTE(mrl @ Aug 18 2013, 10:21 AM) If you got the receipt from the US retailer, should have no problem... if you buy one from reseller here in Malaysia, ask them for the receipt if they can give them to you... else, you will need to ask your reseller to do the warranty claim for you. This aint not work , if this work , how come no other Authorize seller sell it beside those hit and run / free lance guy ? |
