Hi guys,
I plan to buy Y510p and add mSata to install Win 7, is it possible to dual boot Win 7 on Msata with existing Win8 ?
*
Y510p don't have mSATA port. It's spec with m.2 port.

Between the Y510P & Y500, if both are SLI GT750M, which would you get?
Price difference seems to be RM100 only.
Lenovo Y510P 59-389550 (2xGT750) = RM3999
Lenovo Y500 59-378187 (2xGT750m) = RM3899
My concern is the cooling as the Y510p runs slightly hotter.
According to notebookcheck, both are using the same chassis so they're the same size.

go for y510 man....the latest one for sure will be some upgrade from the previous one...
then it comes with 4th gen i7...move power saving...and cooler..

Y510p m.2 port only has space to fit in a small capacity card (32G at most, iinm). You can try to install W7 on it tongue.gif
And that is on the premise that you could find a m.2 SSD card now tongue.gif

Nvidia Optimus - a solution from Nvidia that enable Nvidia GPU to kick in only when needed, otherwise laptop is running with Intel IGPU. As a result, this enableĀ  laptop to achieve longer running time with battery power, since Intel IGPU draw a lot less power.

Oh, now I understand what is Optimus, so another out of topic question here, sweat.gif
Other than Lenovo upcoming new Y series laptop, what else Lenovo range laptop do have this Optimus feature too? sweat.gif specific models or all modern laptop already have it? hmm.gif
