QUOTE(shadowzephyr @ Nov 16 2013, 09:45 AM) Again, sorry for double post. 20'C? really that a?I tried running stress test longer than before, and found out the maximum temp is actually 76-77C. Sorry guys. I still think this is quite ok. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « And friendly reminder: there's one LENOVO sticker inside the laptop (just like I predicted) that prevented us to take out the keyboard bezel. I don't know if you guys get the same one. ![]() I tried to remove the sticker carefully, but failed. If my case same with yours, please proceed with extra caution, only if your warranty is still valid. I hold no responsibility for voiding your warranty i always replace my customer's thermal compound and max got 5C different with MX4 or GC Extreme (Compare to stock thermal compound on the laptop) p/s: some of the Y410P thermal compound is very cheaplak one. only one month plus from the manufacturing date and the thermal compound already start drying up |

few questions to clear:
1. Lenovo Malaysia officially announce that no Y series laptop accessories able to order anymore. Except External VGA card 2. Y410/Y510P DO NOT SUPPORT MSATA 3. inhouse testing BF4 at Y510P peak at 90'C +/c. Hitting 100C is abnormal. Please check your unit |

QUOTE(harriss @ Nov 25 2013, 11:01 PM) any Y410/510 doesn't has mSATA at all.For those who has SSD, most likely via one of the below two method: 1. NGFF M.2 2. Caddy bay Currently only Y410P has the M.2 Slot, but up to 42mm size which means max size 64G only. And also there is no any SSD model of Y410/y510 model officially in malaysia. If one has, that's mean it's AP set Lastly, current batches of Y510P DOESN'T HAS M.2 PORT |

The existing HDD I will put inside a caddy and swap with the dvdrw. just do as you go, no special setting required. Of course don't damage anything when u doing the transfer or else, warranty bye byeWill there be a problem? Is there any special configuration I need to do inside the BIOS? |

QUOTE(jayzshadower @ Jan 21 2014, 09:21 PM) Yup. I buy from local seller, have 2 year warranty, register online already. But they refuse my repair, maybe because the motherboard in Russia is different than Malaysia version. you might need to contact your reseller to ask for reinforcement already o |
