Anyone using Cooler Master notepal U2 ?
im looking for laptop cooler to cool my y500

I would think that overclocking a laptop graphic card is a bad idea at first, but it seems that my temperature reading is holding steady at between 60-70 celcius during load.

Anyone here knew the max temp for the 750M?

Max temperature for Kepler GPU is 90 Celsius.
Max temperature for Ivy Bridge CPU is 105 Celsius.

Overclock isn't bad idea after all, my overclocked Y500 rarely reach more than 85 Celsius~ Besides get performance boost. :3

this is super cool man, which the shop vendors can bring in IPS panel!!! Definitely upgrade this thing! Liking more and more for my Y500 for being customizable!!!

what is gamut screens?

IPS panel is impossible for our Y500 because it requires 50 pin connection. Meanwhile, our Y500 is 40 Pin.

Windows 8 is a piece of shit.
just got an msata SSD and tried whole night, dunno how to get it done.

and i'm not paying more money for Paragon software just to get my windows migrated.

To others, FYI I ported my OS to mSATA by Disk Cloning. Such waste of time and energy sourcing the internet AND calling Lenovo, who doesn't provide help at all, after 3 transfer calls, to someone who should be "more specialized" in solving your problem, the last person just kept on repeating:

"Your laptop msata only supports caching, if you install your OS there, your One Key Recovery will not work."
even if I ask, so do you provide recovery CD? or any form of OS installation? he answers with the same answer like a robot. Read on Lenovo Forum that people experiences the same as well, even calling Microsoft, they even suggest that u buy the retail pack

I think they probably repartition the whole HDD before install Win 7...

AutoCAD 2012 work in Win 8 (just AutoCAD 2013 can't install without modified some file inside the installer)
And also tons of engineering software which I currently use also work in Win 8
