Tried. Cannot. Boot media missing lol.
The hidden partition is gone :/
*
that's mean they disrupted the partition table/ deleted the restoration partition already.
Can't help out there. Only way is to go back to service center.

For me i won't delete the partition but just do format on C: to install windows 7...

*

no,

*
so far for the number of multi hundred units of Y500/Y510 sold, seen none of the described issue. This happened only when the plastic at inner layer broken when forced open by inexperienced seller. (saw it when a customer bought Y500 and walk in for mSATA)

the tips is to open it gently shake side by side. tongue.gif

Yes. Exactly. For Y500/Y510, back cover is to open evenly together from left and right. If not careful, either two place will get broken:
The ULTRABAY or nearby audio jack area

Is the SLI adapter bundle with 170w psu?
can it be used for Y410p/GT750m or Y400/GT750m?  notworthy.gif
*
bundle with lenovo 170watt adapter

tested, Y400/Y410P bracket is different to Y500/Y510P. thus not supported at this moment

Careful guys, Last time I talk to Lenovo SC they told me that the y500's keyboard is part of the cooling system. They advise not to use keyboard cover nor close lid when using external monitor cause it will be very hot.

Not sure how this skins will affect it but it might get hotter than usual.
*
well, i aware of it. thanks for the tips smile.gif
