QUOTE(kevinn7 @ Jun 17 2013, 02:10 PM) Hi Bro, Bro, you have moved in already? Actually what's the problem renting to students? Unless they are noisy or disturb the community's well being, I don't think it's an issue. I am pretty sure you were once a student as well. Yeah i think our own committee setup is good. Which lane are you in? I think my lane has 2 student house. Damn sien.. |

QUOTE(noproblem @ Jun 24 2013, 11:03 AM) Last week I witnessed student just pass through (knee down & walk) the gate without report to Security guard as they are busy registering us, and I saw bunch of motorcyclist exit using ONLY 1 access card. Probably you can raise this issue to the management? At the same time, the owner should be informed as well. I don't mind students staying if they are well behaved but this is over the line.Any updates from your guys? |

QUOTE(doomdoom @ Jun 28 2013, 10:26 PM) the developer sell the unsold units ta legian intermediate with 610k above..and subsale price only at around 530k....this developer is too over confident on themselves.. It's actually 625k with 10% discount as well as all the processing few borne by the developer. I just bought a unit there. |

QUOTE(Vampyr3 @ Apr 28 2014, 06:46 PM) Cinema??? Oh btw, just a quick check with the Legian owners, I am in the midst of renovation and part of the plan was to build a wall to replace the existing green fence in the porch. Now since I am intermediate, to my right, I have gotten the consent of my neighbour to build the wall. However on my left is where it gets tricky since it's an unsold corner lot. Apparently I can only build the wall on my area and hence I couldn't put a full sized brick. Anyone encountered this before? Has anyone build half a wall? Probably share some pictures? PS: Don't ask me to persuade the management as I have already did talk to them on this. |

QUOTE(Vampyr3 @ Apr 28 2014, 08:50 PM) Yup, there is supposed to be a plan for a cinema to be built in alam avenue 2 but duno how it went now. Appreciate it if you can share the photos here as if i recall correctly, the bricks will overlap the drain grates if I am not mistaken. As for the brick, i built my wall on my side of the wall too and a full sized brick is able to fit in nicely. Just make sure that the area sits on your own plot of land and not crossing over the boundary to the neighbour. I have some photos in my phone but couldn't connect to upload now |

QUOTE(Vampyr3 @ Apr 29 2014, 09:29 AM) Not sure if you can see it clearly but the wall is sitting over on my side and it's just next to the grate in the next picture. Don't have a better picture currently coz it was taken last month. Hope that helps! Thanks for the pictures. Can you open your drain grating? |

Went to my house yesterday, Jalan Sungai Rasau literally became a sungai after the heavy downpour yesterday. Both ends of it was flooded due to bad drainage system.

QUOTE(redlyfs @ May 15 2014, 03:02 PM) When I did my Maxis broadband, they just pulled a cable from the nearby ports, those green little boxes you see beside the housing road. After that they'll pull that cable through the drain, and into the ready phone box. No hacking required. UNLESS you already completely tiled and cemented your porch, then you have to hack it for them to access the pull hole Which pull hole are you talking about? Is it the one outside the mirror doors? |

To those that painted your interior and your exterior, how much is the worksmanship? I was quoted 3.5k for manpower alone.

QUOTE(joeec @ May 24 2014, 09:50 AM) Yeah. Would recommended to get the TNB box grilled up together when anyone is getting grilles for their houses. It's not the rain water harvest tanks. It's actually the pond and the swimming pool for unoccupied corner lots. I'm also concerned about mosquito issue. Is there anyway we could convince management to have the rain water harvest tanks drained out completely for those houses not occupied? Just leave the taps open. Coz they are such a breeding ground for mosquitoes. |
