If im not wrong, there is two optional/hidden point inside the plaster ceiling undert the toilets.
If you climb up to the plaster ceiling, look towards the staircase, u will find these 2 terminals.

Was being told by Ken Rimba Contractor during joint inspection. And i reckon this is the same for both intermediate and End Lot. Happy hunting.....

Hahah! Thanks for the good luck wish! Scratching my head as I found this out after my reno is already completed. I did not add or remove any wiring from that part of the house. rclxub.gif

planning to do kitchen tabletop and cabinet......the above roughly how much for intermediate unit?
*
All depends on the length, cabinet and tabletop material. But for that picture 7-8k sounds about right.

7-8K would be pretty decent price, then you'll have to add in the price of sink, faucet, hob, hood, oven, etc. Be prepared. hahaha.
*
True. That's purely cabinets alone!
Hood and hob, sinks, taps, kitchen fixtures,

Isn't solid surface (man made rocks) more expensive tho?

I had the impression that concrete + tiles can be cheaper, especially if there's no tiles.
*
Solid surface is not stones. Stones are either granite or quartz. Solid surface is made out of hard plastics (combination of acrylic, marble dust and resins.)

Since Block C buyers are signing S&P, why not start up a community page in Facebook for owners?
*
There's one for legian owners already.

How much your current offer now.....I got for DC Moto about MYR 1400 maybe bulk purchase could get better price
*
I think that's the best currently for DCmoto 925W. I saw it from Mr.Autogate's advertisement from Mudah. There are a few other cheaper brands like D'Nor which goes for RM1380

Just a word of advice Thomas, for your hidden wardrobe, there will be a structure beam around one feet elevated from your master bedroom floor. Hence, your hidden wardrobe will be one feet higher than your bedroom.

*
For that thread, I can conclude that most of them favor DCMotor 925W. No reviews for other brands though. Let's start a group buy.

*
Yes, you can use back the same gate. And we can't change the gate. Refer to your booklet.

Based on LYN's discussion on autogates, I am more inclined to DCMoto 925W.

Guys, PM me your house and lane numbers as well as your contacts.

I will contact the autogate supplier sometime this week.

So everyone OK with DCMoto 925W?

Update, I have already contacted 2 suppliers, Winson (recommended by LYN members) and Mr.Autogate. Will do the survey this week and update on the price.

MYR 1400.00 is only for installation and material supply. Autogate wiring is additional charges.
*
Yes. Mohamma is right. The Rm1400 is only for standard installation. The wiring and possibly hacking is a different charge altogether.

Update 2,

I met 2 suppliers today and both told me that one side of our walls are too thin to install the DC Moto properly. Refer to the attached picture. As you can see from the attached picture, the mounting plate it too thick for our wall. Hence it was suggested to us to fabricated metal pillar (filled with cement) so that it can be installed.

For our group buy price:

1. Mr.Autogate - GFM925W - RM1350 (1 year warranty)
2. Jason (recommended by LYN) - GFM925W - RM1500 & GFM925AL - RM1700 (2 years warranty)
user posted image

The difference between GFM925W and GFM925AL is that the AL version cannot be forced open as the lock is located on both side of the gate instead of only at the actuator.

When I had a chat with both of them, I am more inclined to Jason as he seems to know what he was talking. For the idea of fabricating the metal pillar, it was actually his idea.

Oh btw, the prices are not inclusive of cabling between your DB and gate. Plus, Jason recommended that the autogate to be the last installation as there's a tendency of acid cleaning prior to moving into your house and this acid fumes would damage the autogate arms.

*
Yes. RM1500-1700 is included with the metal pillar.

Bro, Sorry to jump in.. since my unit is still under renovation. Need to ask the question below..
Will the metal pillar be strong enough to support the gate in the long run? And if bricking up the wall (on the thin wall) would be better idea or not? Thanks!
*
The metal pillar would be strong enough. However, if you are doing your renovation still, it is recommended that bricking up would be a better option.

Understand it is hard to deploy security to enforce anything that technically belongs to MPSA, not quite sure if residential patrol is the way to go but when I move there next time I wouldn't mind participating in such initiatives.
*
To be fair over here, the park is indeed a public property. Unless it is declared only for Ken Rimba residences, I don't see how both us the residents and the management can rectify public property vandalism.
Even famous public parks such as Taman Tasik Titiwangsa still suffer from property vandalism. IMHO, the way out to this problem is only to rely on our police force to patrol our surrounding area or to take matters into our own hands which is to do neighbourhood patrol.
