Maybe your air cond unit brand concern, as far as I know, York brand air cond compressor tends to create more sound compare with Panasonic.  hmm.gif  hmm.gif

Hello,

Does anyone know if the Legian house comes with autogate cable wiring? or do we need to do it on our own?
*
Yes, will need to do autogate cable wiring on our own.

I am OK with group buy

I wonder how much cheaper it'll be if group buy?
I'm ok with group buy too, but perhaps in 2 months' time or so. Now prioritizing other more important purchase first. smile.gif

I will contact the autogate supplier sometime this week.

So everyone OK with DCMoto 925W?

Update, I have already contacted 2 suppliers, Winson (recommended by LYN members) and Mr.Autogate. Will do the survey this week and update on the price.

I did the autogate wiring and cables d. So will it be cheaper than rm1400? smile.gif

Update 2,

I met 2 suppliers today and both told me that one side of our walls are too thin to install the DC Moto properly. Refer to the attached picture. As you can see from the attached picture, the mounting plate it too thick for our wall. Hence it was suggested to us to fabricated metal pillar (filled with cement) so that it can be installed.

For our group buy price:

1. Mr.Autogate - GFM925W - RM1350 (1 year warranty)
2. Jason (recommended by LYN) - GFM925W - RM1500 & GFM925AL - RM1700 (2 years warranty)
user posted image

The difference between GFM925W and GFM925AL is that the AL version cannot be forced open as the lock is located on both side of the gate instead of only at the actuator.

When I had a chat with both of them, I am more inclined to Jason as he seems to know what he was talking. For the idea of fabricating the metal pillar, it was actually his idea.

Oh btw, the prices are not inclusive of cabling between your DB and gate. Plus, Jason recommended that the autogate to be the last installation as there's a tendency of acid cleaning prior to moving into your house and this acid fumes would damage the autogate arms.

Thanks for the info!

Does rm1500/rm1700 includes fabricating the metal pillar (filled with cement)?

The foldable gate and autogate wiring provided by developer

Autogate wiring was provided by developer? Perhaps for end units only? Mine's intermediate unit I had to pay contractor to do it for me.....

That's actually pretty decent rate, can use for long term lagi best, like every week.

If every week I think 4 hours more than enough. Will they come all the way for rm40?

Hi Guys,

Wanna ask how long does it take to finished the defect work usually?
I have submited my defect check list to Genesis in Jun and resubmit again in July since they haven't start any work yet. Last week call Genesis and they said im at 17th of the list but today became 21st. They claim that pending work because of hari raya but then hari raya just the 2 days off. Looks like someone is jumping q? Had waiting for 2 months and still waiting. Renovation work is pending now. Got house but can stay. Disappointed

Get Mr Wong to look into ur case. He's very helpful and might be able to hasten ur defect rectification.

Sorry to be still talking about Legian. Recently I observed plaster ceiling at my living hall is peeling off and I suspect it's due to very minor leaking somewhere. There's also a faint watermark stain at the wall just above main wooden front door.
I've called contractor in but they can't identify where the leak is from. Any owners experienced something similar in the past? Would be grateful for your insight. Thanks!

1. Ledge between master bedroom and toilet. Once I tried water pond up to this ledge level. And observed watermarks at plaster ceiling besides the living room.

2. Did u use the front porch rain water harvest tank? Take note that the floor at that area aren't water proof..... and that's directly above the main wooden door.... my unit once even soaked up my MCB. ...
*
Thanks Thomas for ur reply!

1. So does that mean I need to remove the wall and floor tiles of my masterbedroom toilet to apply water proofing?

2. I use the front water harvest tank only occasionally. So probably water overflows from the tank spills onto the floor?
Any way I can stop rainwater from going into my tank? I dont use it that often anyway.

Thanks!
