QUOTE(stevenkkt @ Jun 3 2014, 10:42 AM) Hi-5! QUOTE(Annice82 @ Jun 3 2014, 02:10 PM) Damn lots of mosquitoes at this area! My baby always got bitten. Shit!! I have been using lots of mosquito repellents spray, ridset, in gel form and also electric type. It seems not much help also. Any suggestion on how to get rid of these mosquitos??? I would suggest to fix mosquito nettings instead of repellants.....too much of repellants chemical isn't good for the baby too and you can still open your doors/windows for ventilation. But the costs to fix the mosquito nets isn't too cheap either, bordering around 2k or so for the whole house. This post has been edited by Vampyr3: Jun 3 2014, 09:46 PM |

QUOTE(joeec @ Jun 3 2014, 07:52 PM) Are mosquito netting effective? Can anyone share from experience? I don't think anything is full-proof though, there is always chances for the mosquitoes to fly in whenever you open the door's or flip the nets to open windows but it's still better than nothing at all Some say mosquitoes can still fly in due to opening and closing of doors. QUOTE(popice2u @ Jun 3 2014, 08:21 PM) I think you can still find some old stock from suppliers, you can try Kong Mee Trading at bandar puchong jaya. My contractor got it from there I think since he told me to check out the tiles there and let him know the codes that i want.....i also tiled up the indoor garden but still left some indentation |

QUOTE(rmohamma @ Jun 4 2014, 05:37 PM) Hi Neighbour, One of the ridiculous thing with this developer is even if u bought it direct from them, they said it's subsale Does anyone has water leaking in 1st Floor Toilet, which leave watermark on the dining hall and living room area. How long it take for the developer to rectify your defect, it's been 2 week for me without any rectification from developer. When contacted the management office they refer me to the sale staff since I bought it completed unit from developer ( S&P as it is basis - which I dispute since they're no water supply during S&P signing and it's a new unit not sub-sale, verbally they agreed to rectify but verbally only). Furthermore could anyone provide feedback about renovation contractor company TS Design & Co and his sister company for Kitchen Cabinet MyFid. Does they're reliable ? and their w/ship is o.k ? I face the same case when i asked them to rectify my defects and it took them 2 mths and it's not even serious leakage etc stuff. In the end, it's not completed in time and i took back the keys to rectify them myself....fed up with the sales person attitude which suck big time |

Anybody mind sharing how much it costs you to paint your house? I've asked around for the labour charges and the price the contractors gave me wasn't exactly cheap :S

QUOTE(rmohamma @ Jun 5 2014, 05:04 PM) Compared with my quote it kind of high for labour charge and interior only but I only has 1 quote need to get a few quote more. Yeah, i got quoted around the price from a few contractors but still kinda exp from what i gatherQUOTE(joeec @ Jun 5 2014, 06:15 PM) Sounds a bit expensive. I did exterior ground floor and interior ground floor (excluding the long wall going all the way up to second floor) + masterbedroom = quoted about Rm1,000. Labor cost only. Is it ok to pm your contractors contact please? I want to paint just the interior and 2.5k is very exp for labor only QUOTE(Alexis666 @ Jun 5 2014, 07:05 PM) Mine is an end lot, and the last quote i got was pretty insane. It was 6K for the whole house, excluding paint. Obviously it was jaw-dropping. Still shopping around for one that can do it for a whole lot cheaper. I think end lots are more exp due to the extra side exterior walls but 6k without paint is just cutthroat! |

It really is a joke.....we are going to be charged for something which we don't use, and never required but is also creating breeding grounds for the mosquitoes. The mgt are paid maintenance exactly for keeping the grounds clean so why are we charged for something which they are already paid to do in the first place
